4.4 Wiring Instructions
Proper wiring is crucial for the correct functioning of the unit. Refer to the wiring diagram in the original user manual (PDF) for detailed connections. Key points include:
- Power Connection: The yellow B+ line and red ACC line require a 12V positive power supply. The yellow B+ line maintains power for memory function.
- Speaker Connections: Ensure the 8 speaker cables are connected correctly. Each cable must not be grounded, shared, or touch other lines to prevent sound distortion or damage.
- Steering Wheel Control Wiring: Connect the positive pole of the original car steering wheel button control line to the KEY Line on the machine's output line. Connect the negative pole to the ground (power negative) line.
- Rear Camera Connection: Connect the camera cable to the unit's head cable. The unit supports CVBS cameras. The reverse control line (pink or brown) connects to the 12V positive pole, which triggers the screen to display the reverse mode. The video cable from the camera connects to the CAME video input interface.
Important Note for Rear Camera: If a reversing camera is not installed, do NOT connect the REVERSE/BACK cable. Leave it unconnected to prevent the machine from automatically entering reverse mode or malfunctioning.
