3. Setup and Initial Use
3.1 Physical Placement and Adjustment
The projector offers flexible placement options:
- Tabletop Projection: Place the projector on a stable surface.
- 180° Flexible Projection: The projector can rotate 180 degrees, allowing projection onto walls, ceilings, or floors. Adjust the body to find your desired viewing angle.
- Ceiling Hoisting: The projector can be mounted to the ceiling for a permanent setup.

3.2 Powering On/Off
Connect the power adapter to the projector and a power outlet. Press the ON/OFF button on the projector or remote control to power on or off the device.
3.3 Network Setup (Wi-Fi & Bluetooth)
To access online content and connect wireless accessories:
- Wi-Fi Setting:
- Navigate to Settings > Wi-Fi.
- Choose your desired network from the list.
- Enter the password to connect.
- Bluetooth Setting:
- Navigate to Settings > Bluetooth.
- Turn Bluetooth "ON".
- Click "Refresh Device" and select the objective device (e.g., speaker, headphones) to pair.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Navigating the User Interface
The projector runs on Coolita OS, an Android-based system. Use the remote control's direction and OK buttons to navigate through menus and select options.
4.2 Media Playback
You can play local media files from a USB disk:
- Insert a USB disk into the USB port.
- From the homepage, click the "Media" icon or the USB icon (if available) to access the file browser.
- Browse and select your desired video, music, photo, or e-book file to play.
4.3 Screen Mirroring
Share content from your mobile devices or computer to the projector.
- Coolink (Wireless Mirroring via App):
- Ensure your phone and projector are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Scan the QR code displayed on the projector screen (or in the manual) to download the Coolink mobile app.
- Use the app to control the projector and cast your screen.
- Wired Screen Mirroring (Android/iOS):
- Connect your iPhone via the projector's USB port.
- For Android devices, connect via USB. Some Android models may require selecting "File Transfer" mode.
- Follow on-screen prompts to initiate mirroring.
- Wireless Screen Mirroring (Android/iOS):
- Connect your phone and projector to the same Wi-Fi network.

4.4 HDMI Input
To connect external devices like laptops, gaming consoles, or Blu-ray players:
- Connect the external device to the projector using an HDMI cable.
- Select "HDMI" on the projector's homepage or press the "HD-IN" button on the remote control.
- The signal from the external device will be transmitted and projected.
4.5 Image Adjustments
- Focus: Use the Focus Wheel on the projector to sharpen the image.
- Keystone Correction:
- Navigate to Settings > Projection > Keystone.
- Choose between "Auto Keystone" for automatic correction or "Manual Keystone" for fine-tuning.
- Zoom: The projector features a zoom function (80%-100% Zoom) to adjust screen size without moving the projector.
- Image Mode:
- Navigate to Settings > Image Mode.

4.6 Free TV Channels and Movies

5. Maintenance

6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Salange X8Mini Projector, try the following basic troubleshooting steps:
- No Power: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the projector and a working power outlet. Try a different outlet.
- No Image:
- Check if the projector is powered on.
- Verify the input source is correctly selected (e.g., HDMI, USB, Screen Mirroring).
