Setup Instructions

1. Power Connection: Connect the provided USB power cable to the USB port on the back of the C256 clock. Plug the other end into a standard USB 5V1A power adapter (not included) or a compatible USB port.

2. Audio Input (Optional): For direct audio line control, connect a 3.5mm audio cable (if available) from your audio source to the Audio cable jack on the back of the clock. The device will automatically switch from voice control to audio line control when an audio cable is detected.

3. Placement: Place the clock on a stable, flat surface. Ensure the sound sensor window (if using voice control) is not obstructed for optimal performance.

• Audio Cable Control: If a 3.5mm audio cable is connected, the device automatically switches to direct audio input for spectrum display, bypassing the voice control function.

Maintenance

• Environment: Keep the device in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and excessive humidity.

• No Display/Power:
  • Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the device and a working 5V1A USB power source.
  • Try a different USB power adapter or port.
• Spectrum Not Responding to Sound (Voice Control):
  • Check that no 3.5mm audio cable is plugged into the device, as this will switch it to wire control.
  • Ensure the sound sensor window on the back is not obstructed.
  • Increase the volume of the audio source or move the device closer to the sound.
• Spectrum Not Responding to Sound (Wire Control):
  • Ensure the 3.5mm audio cable is securely connected to both the device and the audio source.
  • Verify the audio source is playing sound and its volume is adequate.
  • Try a different 3.5mm audio cable.
• Clock Display Issues:
  • If the time is incorrect, use the 'Set' button to enter the clock settings and adjust the time.
