7. Maintenance and Safety

7.1 General Maintenance

  • Avoid Dry Operation: Do not operate the sprayer without water in it, as this may damage the diaphragm pump.
  • Battery Care:
    • If the battery voltage drops to 10.5V, an alarm will sound, indicating the need for timely charging.
    • For long-term storage, perform regular full discharging and recharging every 1-2 months to ensure battery life.
  • Post-Use Cleaning:
    • Thoroughly clean the unit after each use to prevent corrosion, clogging, and mixing of residual liquids.
    • For the exterior, scrub with a dampened cloth.
    • For the interior, fill with a small amount of clean water, shake, and then discharge by turning on the power.
  • Regular Inspection: After six months of use, dismantle the base and check for loose screws; tighten if necessary.
  • Storage: Always switch off the power before storage.

7.2 Safety Precautions

  • Personal Protective Equipment: Always wear a mask and gloves when spraying.

    • Strictly comply with the safety instructions provided by the pesticide manufacturer.
  • Spraying Environment:
    • Never spray against the wind.
    • Avoid spraying towards humans, animals, or food.
    • Do not operate for extended periods under high temperatures.
    • Do not operate in temperatures exceeding 45°C or below -10°C.
  • Product Integrity:
    • Never place the sprayer upside down, as this may damage the battery.
    • Do not keep the sprayer near fire, expose the base to water, or immerse the machine in water for cleaning or filling.
    • Never spray powders or particles with this sprayer.
    • Unauthorized removal of the charger's housing is prohibited.
