1. Important Safety Instructions

Thank you for purchasing the XIWBSY X06 projector. Please read this manual thoroughly before using and keep it for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in physical injury, loss of data, or product damage, and will void the warranty.

1.1. Set Up

  • Do not install the projector in places without proper ventilation.
  • Do not install the projector in hot and humid places.
  • Do not install the projector in dusty or smoky places.
  • Do not block the ventilation holes (intake or exhaust).
  • Do not install the projector near temperature and smoke detectors, as this may cause sensor failure.
  • Do not install the projector in areas where warm and cool air will blow directly onto the projector, as this may cause projector failure due to moisture condensation or large temperature changes.

1.2. Power Supply

  • Power off the device before removing the power supply from the socket.
  • Use the power cord with caution to avoid unduly bending it. Damaged power cords may cause electric shock or fire.
  • Unplug this device if there are lightning storms or when unused for a long period of time.
  • Never touch the power cable or the power connection with wet hands.
  • Unplug the power cord from the outlet after using the projector.

1.3. Repairs

  • Never attempt to repair the projector yourself.
  • No components in the projector can be repaired by customers.
  • Please entrust qualified professional maintenance personnel for repair.

1.4. Caution

  • Do not look at the lens directly, as it may cause severe eye injury.
  • During and after use, the temperature near the air outlet will rise; avoid touching it to prevent burns.
  • Do not place the projector in a room that is too warm or too cold, as high or low temperatures will shorten the lifespan of the device. The optimal working temperature is 5°C-35°C.

2.2. Projector Components

Familiarize yourself with the various parts of your projector:

2.3. Remote Control

The remote control allows you to navigate the projector's functions:

  1. Power Switch

NOTE:

  • For some apps or websites, switch to mouse cursor input action using the Mouse button.

3. Getting Started

3.1. Projector Placement

The projector can be placed in various modes:

  • Front projection ceiling mount
  • Rear projection ceiling mount
  • Front projection table mount
  • Rear projection table mount

Installation Notes:

  • During installation, do not operate with electricity to avoid electric shock and circuit failure.
  • Maintain a gap of at least 30 cm from the wall. Do not cover or block the projector's vents to ensure proper ventilation, performance, and reliability.
  • If mounting on a ceiling with a projector screen, the projector cannot be higher than the upper edge of the screen to avoid affecting the image effect.

3.2. Ceiling Installation

  1. Purchase a universal projector ceiling mount.
  2. Remove the four rubber pads on the bottom of the projector to reveal the screw holes.
  3. Use M4*10mm screws to install the ceiling mount.

3.3. Power On

  1. Plug the power cord into an outlet.
  2. Remove the lens cover.
  3. Press the power button on the projector or remote control to turn it on.

3.4. Projection Distance & Size

The recommended projection screen size is around 100 inches with a projection distance of approximately 9.2 ft. Ambient darkness will improve the clarity of projected images.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Adjusting the Projected Image (Autofocus)

After adjusting the size and distance of the projector, if the image is still unclear, press the remote control's F+/F- buttons to adjust until a clear image is obtained. The projector features TOF Laser Auto-Focus for quick and accurate focusing.

4.2. Auto Obstacle Avoidance

  1. Use the Direction button on the remote control or projector to navigate to the settings icon and press the Confirm button to enter the settings menu.
  2. Select the projection method icon, press OK to enter.
  3. Select "Automatic obstacle avoidance" in the "Projection" column. The projector will automatically avoid obstacles after refocusing (the display screen will shrink).

4.3. Auto Access Screen

  1. Use the Direction button on the remote control or projector to navigate to the settings icon and press the Confirm button to enter the settings menu.
  2. Select the projection method icon, press OK to enter.
  3. Select "Auto access screen" in the "Projection" bar, then select "START". After the projector refocuses, the screen size will be adjusted.

Attention:

  • When entering the screen automatically, ensure that all corners of the screen are within the projection screen.
  • After zoom setting, Auto Trapezoid will be turned off.

4.4. Four-point Keystone Correction (Horizontal and Vertical)

If the projected image is not rectangular, it can be adjusted using four-point keystone correction.

  1. Use the remote control or projector buttons to enter the setting interface.
  2. Select the projected image settings, press OK to enter.
  3. Select "Auto Trapezoid" in the "Projection" column, and turn off "Auto Trapezoid" to enter manual adjustment mode.
  4. Select "Point Trapezoid" and press OK to enter the page. Use the direction buttons to adjust the projected image according to the graphics. After adjusting the current point, press OK to go to the next corner point.
  5. After adjusting all four points, press the return key to save the current state.

5. Connectivity

5.1. HDMI Mode

  1. Connect the projector and your equipment (e.g., laptop, TV box) with an HDMI cable.
  2. Press and hold the <Source button> on the projector or remote control to enter the input source interface and select HDMI.
  3. Select the HDMI input (HDMI1 or HDMI2) corresponding to your connection, press OK to enter, and then press the return key to exit and return to the main interface.

5.2. AV Mode

  1. Connect the projector and your equipment (e.g., DVD player) with an AV cable.
  2. Press and hold the source button on the projector or remote control to enter the input source interface.
  3. Select AV, press OK to enter, then press the return key to exit and return to the main interface.

5.3. USB Mode

  1. Connect a USB disk to the projector. The USB disk will be highlighted on the main interface of the projection screen.
  2. Select the corresponding Movie, Music, Picture, or Office Suite modules based on the file type, and press OK to enter the file.

6. WiFi Settings

  1. Use the remote control or projector button to enter the setting interface.
  2. Find <NETWORK> in the setting interface, press OK to enter the WIFI setting.
  3. Press OK to turn on WIFI, and the WIFI name list will appear.
  4. Select the name of the WiFi to be connected, press OK to display the virtual keyboard.
  5. Use the remote control to enter the password, place the control cursor on the keyboard [Finish], and press OK to complete the password input.

7. Screen Mirroring

7.1. For iOS Devices (Streaming using WiFi)

Note: This feature only enables screen mirroring over WiFi, not iOS device data.

  1. Connect the projector to WiFi following the WiFi setting steps. Turn on WiFi on your iPhone. Ensure both your iPhone and the projector are connected to the same WiFi network.
  2. On the projector's main menu, use the remote control to select the settings icon and then select the WiFi option.
  3. Select the WiFi network to be connected, press OK to display the virtual keyboard. Use the remote control to enter the password, place the control cursor on [Finish], and press OK to complete the password input. (Connecting a mouse can make password entry easier).
  4. After entering the password, use the directional buttons on the remote control to move the cursor to [Connect], then press OK to connect.
  5. On your iOS device, slide up to enter the options interface, click the Screen Mirroring icon, select the projector name (e.g., Eshare-xxxx), and click Connect.

7.2. For Android Devices (Streaming using WiFi)

  1. Connect the projector to WiFi. Open the main menu of the projector, select the Eshare icon, and press OK to enter.
  2. Follow the interface prompts to scan the Eshare QR code with your mobile device. Download the Eshare APP to your mobile device. After the download is complete, open Eshare and use the mobile device mirroring function with one-click screen sharing.
  3. After successful connection, the screen content of the Android device will be projected onto the projection surface.

Note:

  • The mobile device and the projector should be connected to the same WiFi network.

7.3. For MacBook Devices

  1. Connect the projector to WiFi. Open your computer's network settings. Ensure both your MacBook and the projector are connected to the same WiFi network.
  2. Open System Settings, find the AirPlay option, click it, and search for the projector.
  3. Select the current projector device (e.g., EShare-xxxx), click and connect.
  4. When the projector and the device content are consistent, screen mirroring is successful.

7.4. For Windows PC (Wireless Miracast Support for Windows 7/8/10)

  1. Connect the projector to WiFi. The WiFi network needs to be the same as your computer's WiFi.
  2. Enter the URL http://h.eshare.app on your computer and select the (Eshare for Windows) option to download.
  3. After the download is complete, open the EShare APP, select one-click screen sharing, and the screen mirroring will be successful.

8. Bluetooth Connection

The projector can connect to external speakers or a smartphone/tablet for music streaming via Bluetooth. In Bluetooth mode, the projector can function as a Bluetooth speaker.

8.1. How to connect the projector to external speakers:

  1. Use the remote control or projector button to enter the setting interface.
  2. Find the Bluetooth settings, press OK to enter.
  3. Select "Add accessory". A list of Bluetooth devices will be displayed.
  4. Select the Bluetooth speaker from the device list to connect, then press OK to pair.
  5. After successful connection, it will show "Connected" on the Bluetooth device.

8.2. How to connect the projector to the phone via Bluetooth:

  1. Use the remote control or projector button to move the cursor to APPS on the main interface.
  2. Move the cursor down to the Bluetooth icon under My apps, and press OK to enter the Bluetooth connection interface.
  3. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile phone, find the Bluetooth name of the projector ("Projector"), and click to pair.

9. App Download

  1. Find the APPS icon on the projector's main menu page using the remote control direction keys.
  2. Control the remote control to move the cursor down to the APP Store icon, and press the OK key to enter.
  3. Click the search icon to find the APP you need to download.

10. Troubleshooting

10.1. Blurry Image

  • Ensure the projection distance is farther than the minimum projection distance of 1.3 m.
  • Adjust the focus ring (or use autofocus).

10.2. Projector Image Shows No Signal

  • Make sure all cables are connected to the projector properly and stably.
  • Check whether the projector input source mode has been selected as the corresponding format (e.g., if connected via HDMI, select HDMI input).

10.3. Remote Unresponsive

  • Make sure the remote points directly at the IR receiver.
  • Do not cover the IR receiver.
  • Try a new pair of AAA batteries.

10.4. Projector Stops Automatically

  • Check if the projector's air inlet and outlet are blocked by other objects.
  • Ensure the local mains voltage is within the acceptable range and does not fluctuate too much.
