Operating Instructions

DPI Adjustment

The mouse supports a DPI range of 10-30000, adjustable in 10-interval steps. You can also set independent X/Y-axis DPIs for precise control over horizontal and vertical movement sensitivity. Use the dedicated DPI adjust button (typically located near the scroll wheel or on the underside) or the 'A HUB' software to change DPI settings.

Polling Rate Adjustment

The VT0 Air MAX offers multiple polling rate options to suit your needs:

  • 8000Hz
  • 4000Hz
  • 2000Hz
  • 1000Hz
  • 500Hz
  • 250Hz
  • 125Hz

Higher polling rates provide more responsive tracking but may consume more battery. Adjust the polling rate via the 'A HUB' software.

Programmable Buttons & Software (A HUB)

The mouse features 8 programmable buttons. To customize these buttons and create macros, download and install the 'A HUB' software. This software allows you to:

  • Remap buttons to perform specific functions.
  • Create and assign complex macros for in-game actions.
  • Adjust DPI, polling rate, and other performance settings.

The mouse has onboard memory, so your customized settings will be saved directly to the mouse and can be used across different devices and operating systems (Windows and Mac OS) without needing to re-configure.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance and hygiene, regularly clean your mouse:

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the mouse.
  • For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the mouse's finish.
  • Use compressed air to clear dust and debris from crevices and around buttons.

Replacing PTFE Mouse Feet

Over time, the PTFE mouse feet may wear down, affecting glide performance. Your package includes replacement PTFE feet.

  1. Carefully peel off the old PTFE feet from the bottom of the mouse. You may use a thin, non-abrasive tool if necessary.
  2. Ensure the surface where the feet were is clean and dry.
  3. Peel the backing from the new PTFE feet and carefully align them with the designated areas on the mouse's underside.
  4. Press firmly to ensure proper adhesion.

Troubleshooting

  • Mouse not responding: Ensure the USB adapter is securely plugged into your computer and the mouse is turned on. Check the battery level and charge if necessary. Try plugging the USB adapter into a different port.
  • Intermittent connection: Ensure the mouse is within range of the USB adapter and there are no major obstructions. Avoid placing the adapter near other wireless devices that might cause interference.
  • DPI/Button settings not saving: Make sure you are using the official 'A HUB' software to configure settings. Ensure the software is updated to the latest version.
  • Sensor information: While the specific sensor model is not explicitly provided in the product description (listed as 'XXXX'), the mouse is designed for gaming with a high DPI range (up to 30000) and IPS (750), indicating a high-performance optical sensor suitable for competitive gaming.
