5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
To power on the e-bike, press and hold the power button on the display unit for a few seconds. To power off, repeat the process.
5.2 Riding Modes and Assist Levels
The SUPER G-73 offers 3 riding modes and 5 levels of pedal assist:
- Electric Assist Mode: Provides motor assistance as you pedal. Use the +/- buttons on the display to select one of 5 assist levels. Higher levels provide more assistance. Range: 20-40 miles.
- Pure Electric Mode: Engages the motor without pedaling (if equipped with a throttle). Range: 13-15 miles.
- Sport Mode: Ride the bicycle like a traditional bike with no motor assistance. This mode offers endless range, limited only by your endurance.

5.3 Gear Shifting
The e-bike is equipped with 7-speed Shimano gears. Use the shifters on the handlebars to change gears according to terrain and desired pedaling effort.
5.4 Headlight Operation
Press the light button on the display or control panel to turn the LED headlight on or off. Ensure it is on when riding in low light conditions.
6. Charging the Battery
The 48V 13Ah Lithium battery is removable for convenient charging. Always use the original charger provided.
- Remove Battery: Unlock the battery with the key and slide it out of the frame.
- Connect Charger: Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet, then connect the charging cable to the battery's charging port.
- Charging Indicator: The charger will typically have an indicator light (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).
- Charging Time: A full charge typically takes 4-6 hours. Do not overcharge the battery.
- Reinstall Battery: Once fully charged, disconnect the charger and slide the battery back into the frame, ensuring it locks securely.
Important: Charge the battery in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials. Do not leave charging unattended for extended periods.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your e-bike.
- Tires: Check tire pressure before each ride. Recommended pressure is usually indicated on the tire sidewall.
- Brakes: Inspect brake pads for wear and ensure brake levers engage smoothly and effectively. Adjust as needed.
- Chain: Keep the chain clean and lubricated for smooth gear changes and to prevent rust.
- Fasteners: Periodically check all bolts, nuts, and quick releases for tightness.
- Battery Care: Store the battery in a cool, dry place. If storing for extended periods, charge it to 50-70% every 2-3 months.
- Cleaning: Clean the e-bike with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure washers directly on electrical components.
8. Troubleshooting
Here are some common issues and their potential solutions:
- E-bike not powering on: Check if the battery is fully charged and properly installed. Ensure the power button is pressed correctly.
- Motor not assisting: Verify that pedal assist is enabled and set to a level above zero. Check battery charge. Ensure brake levers are not partially engaged.
- Brakes squealing: This can be normal for disc brakes, especially when wet. If persistent, check for contamination on the rotor or worn pads.
- Short battery range: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Riding in higher assist levels, against strong winds, or on steep inclines will reduce range. Tire pressure also affects range.
- Gears not shifting smoothly: The derailleur may need adjustment. Consult a bike mechanic if you are unsure.
