Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: Replace all 4 AAA dry batteries when the low voltage alarm sounds (≤4.8V). Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
- Emergency Power: If the batteries die completely, you can use a portable power bank connected to the USB Micro emergency power supply port to temporarily power the lock.
- Cleaning: Clean the lock's surface and fingerprint sensor with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
- Keyhole Maintenance: Keep the mechanical keyhole free from dust and debris.
Troubleshooting
- Lock not responding: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Use the emergency power supply port if batteries are completely drained.
- Fingerprint not recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try re-registering your fingerprint if issues persist.
- Password not working: Double-check the entered password. Ensure you are not in "normally open mode" unintentionally. If using a virtual password, ensure the correct sequence is embedded.
- App connection issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the lock is within range. For remote management, verify your WiFi gateway is properly configured and connected to the internet.
- Lock is stuck or difficult to turn: Do not force the lock. Check for any obstructions in the door frame or latch. If the issue persists, contact support.
User Tips
- Regular Battery Check: Although the lock has a low battery alarm, it's good practice to check battery levels periodically, especially if the lock is in a high-traffic area.
- Multiple Unlock Methods: Utilize the various unlocking methods (fingerprint, password, card, key, app) for maximum convenience and as backups.
- Virtual Password: Make use of the virtual password feature to enhance security when unlocking in front of others.
- Administrator Management: Carefully manage administrator access and passwords, as administrators have full control over lock settings.
