Safety Information
Always prioritize safety when operating power tools. Failure to follow safety instructions can result in serious injury or death.
General Safety Rules:
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and sturdy footwear.
- Ensure the work area is clear of bystanders, especially children and pets.
- Do not operate the chainsaw in wet conditions or in the presence of flammable liquids or gases.
- Always maintain a firm grip with both hands on the chainsaw handles.
- Be aware of kickback and how to avoid it.
- Disconnect the chainsaw from the power source before performing any maintenance, adjustments, or when not in use.
- Keep all body parts away from the chain when the chainsaw is connected to power.
- Do not overreach. Maintain proper footing and balance at all times.
Electrical Safety:
- Ensure the power supply voltage matches the chainsaw's requirements (230-240V / 50Hz).
- Use only extension cords suitable for outdoor use and rated for the chainsaw's power consumption.
- Avoid damaging the power cord. Do not carry the chainsaw by the cord or yank it to disconnect from the outlet.

Setup
Assembling the Guide Bar and Chain:
- Ensure the chainsaw is unplugged from the power source.
- Remove the guide bar cover.
- Loosen the chain tensioning knob/screws and remove the side cover.
- Carefully place the chain around the drive sprocket and then guide it into the groove of the guide bar. Ensure the cutting edges of the chain are facing the correct direction (refer to markings on the chain or guide bar).
- Mount the guide bar onto the chainsaw studs, ensuring the chain is properly seated around the drive sprocket and in the guide bar groove.
- Replace the side cover and lightly tighten the nuts/screws.
- Adjust the chain tension. The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still able to be pulled freely by hand. There should be no slack on the underside of the guide bar.
- Once tension is correct, fully tighten the side cover nuts/screws.
Filling the Oil Tank:
- Locate the oil tank cap, typically near the handle.
- Unscrew the cap and fill the tank with appropriate chain lubricant oil (150ml capacity).
- Monitor the oil level using the integrated oil level checker.
- Securely replace the oil tank cap.
Operating Instructions
Starting the Chainsaw:
- Ensure the chainsaw is properly assembled and the oil tank is filled.
- Connect the chainsaw to a suitable power outlet (230-240V / 50Hz).
- Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands, ensuring a secure grip on the anti-slip handle.
- Engage the safety switch (if present) and then press the trigger to start the motor. The "Easy Start" feature ensures a smooth and effortless start.
Cutting Techniques:
- Always stand in a stable position with good balance.
- Allow the chain to reach full speed before making contact with the wood.
- Apply steady, even pressure. Do not force the chainsaw through the wood.
- Be aware of the direction the wood will fall and clear the area.
- For felling trees, make a notch cut first, then a felling cut.
- For limbing, work from the bottom up, supporting the branch if necessary.
- Avoid cutting with the tip of the guide bar to prevent kickback.
Safety Brake:
The chainsaw is equipped with a safety brake that instantly stops the chain in case of sudden recoil or uncontrolled movement. Familiarize yourself with its operation and ensure it is functioning correctly before each use.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and safe operation of your chainsaw.
Chain Lubrication:
- The chainsaw features an automatic chain lubrication system.
- Regularly check the oil level in the tank and refill as needed.
- Use only high-quality chain lubricant oil.
Chain Sharpening:
- A sharp chain is essential for efficient and safe cutting.
- Sharpen the chain regularly or replace it when dull or damaged.
- Refer to the chain manufacturer's instructions for proper sharpening angles and file sizes.
Chain Tension:
- Check chain tension frequently, especially during initial use and after prolonged operation.
- Adjust tension as described in the "Setup" section. A properly tensioned chain should not sag but should still be able to be pulled freely by hand.
Cleaning:
- After each use, disconnect the chainsaw from power and clean off sawdust, debris, and oil residue.
- Pay special attention to the guide bar groove, chain, and air vents to prevent overheating.
- Use a brush or compressed air for cleaning.
Storage:
- Store the chainsaw in a dry, secure place, out of reach of children.
- Always use the guide bar cover when storing or transporting the chainsaw.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Chainsaw does not start | No power supply; Safety brake engaged; Faulty power cord/switch | Check power connection; Disengage safety brake; Inspect power cord/switch for damage (contact service if damaged) |
| Chain does not move | Chain brake engaged; Chain too tight; Obstruction in guide bar/sprocket | Disengage chain brake; Adjust chain tension; Clear any obstructions (ensure chainsaw is unplugged) |
| Poor cutting performance | Dull chain; Incorrect chain tension; Insufficient lubrication | Sharpen or replace chain; Adjust chain tension; Refill oil tank and check automatic lubrication system |
| Excessive vibration | Loose chain; Damaged chain or guide bar; Loose components | Adjust chain tension; Inspect chain and guide bar for damage (replace if necessary); Check all fasteners for tightness |
| Oil leakage | Loose oil cap; Damaged oil tank/seal; Overfilling | Tighten oil cap; Inspect for damage (contact service if damaged); Do not overfill oil tank |
User Tips
- For optimal performance and safety, always ensure the chain is sharp and properly tensioned before each use.
- Keep the oil tank filled with quality chain lubricant to ensure the automatic lubrication system functions effectively and prolongs chain and guide bar life.
- When cutting, let the saw do the work. Avoid applying excessive force, which can lead to premature wear and potential kickback.
- Regularly clean the chainsaw, especially after cutting resinous wood, to prevent buildup that can affect performance and cooling.
