Setup

1. Battery Installation: The device requires 4 AAA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the cover securely.
2. Initial Power-On: Press the power button to turn on the device. The LCD display will light up.

Operation

Follow these steps to use your Yieryi 6-In-1 Soil Tester:

1. Prepare the Soil: Ensure the soil is moist. If the soil is too dry, water it thoroughly and wait for about 30 minutes before testing.
2. Insert the Probe: Gently insert the probe into the soil to a depth of 3-4.7 inches (7.5-12 cm). Avoid forcing the probe into hard soil to prevent damage.
3. Read Measurements: The device will automatically display readings for pH, EC, moisture, fertility, light intensity, and temperature on the LCD screen. Readings typically stabilize within 3 seconds.
4. Data Lock (HOLD/TEMP button - short press): To lock the current readings on the display, short press the 'HOLD/TEMP' button. Press it again to unlock and resume live readings.
5. Temperature Unit Conversion (HOLD/TEMP button - long press): To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) for temperature readings, long press the 'HOLD/TEMP' button.
6. Rotatable Display: The display can be rotated 45 degrees to adjust the viewing angle for convenience.
7. Auto Shut-Off: The device will automatically power off after 5 minutes of inactivity to save battery.

Calibration

Regular calibration ensures the accuracy of your soil tester. The device comes with necessary calibration solutions and powders:

• pH Calibration: Use the provided PH 4.00, PH 7.00, and PH 10.01 calibration powders to calibrate the pH sensor. Follow the instructions in the included User Manual for the specific calibration procedure.
• EC Calibration: Use the 1413 mS/cm EC Calibration Solution to calibrate the EC sensor. Refer to the User Manual for detailed steps.
