5. Setup

5.1. Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the DC 5V port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a standard USB power adapter (5V/1A recommended) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator (if present) will show the charging status. Allow sufficient time for a full charge before first use.

5.2. Powering On/Off

  • Power On: Long press the Power/Call Key until the display screen lights up and you hear a power-on prompt.
  • Power Off: Long press the Power/Call Key again until the display turns off and you hear a power-off prompt.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Bluetooth Mode

  1. Power on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode (indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon or voice prompt).
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "SANSUI F81" from the list. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound.
  4. You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.
  5. Use the Play/Pause Key, Previous Track, and Next Track buttons on the speaker to control playback.

6.2. FM Radio Mode

  1. Press the Mode Key (M) repeatedly until "FM" appears on the display.
  2. To auto-scan and save stations: Long press the Play/Pause Key. The speaker will scan and store available FM stations.
  3. To manually select a station: Use the Digital Keys (0-9) to directly input the frequency (e.g., 90.5 for 90.5 MHz).
  4. To switch between saved stations: Use the Previous Track and Next Track buttons.

6.3. AUX Input Mode

  1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not always included) to the AUX port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player, computer).
  3. Press the Mode Key (M) until "AUX" appears on the display.
  4. Control playback and volume from your external device.

6.4. USB and TF Card Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or a TF (MicroSD) card into the TF card slot.
  2. The speaker should automatically switch to USB or TF card mode and begin playing audio files. If not, press the Mode Key (M) until the correct mode is selected.
  3. Supported audio formats include APE, FLAC, WAV, and MP3.
  4. Use the Play/Pause Key, Previous Track, and Next Track buttons to control playback.
  5. You can also use the Digital Keys (0-9) to directly select a track number (e.g., input 19 for the 19th song).

When connected via Bluetooth to your smartphone:

  • Answer Call: Short press the Power/Call Key when an incoming call rings.
  • End Call: Short press the Power/Call Key during a call.
  • Reject Call: Long press the Power/Call Key when an incoming call rings.

6.6. RGB Light Control

Press the Light Mode Key to cycle through different colorful RGB lighting effects or to turn the lights off.

6.7. Volume Adjustment

  • Increase Volume: Long press the Next Track / Volume Up (V+) button.
  • Decrease Volume: Long press the Previous Track / Volume Down (V-) button.

7. Maintenance

  • Keep the speaker away from water, moisture, and extreme temperatures. The speaker is not waterproof.
  • Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the speaker to strong impacts.
  • When not in use for extended periods, charge the battery at least once every three months to prolong its lifespan.

8. Troubleshooting
