5. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the air fryer and all its components from the packaging. Remove any stickers or promotional materials.
  2. Clean: Before first use, wash the frying basket and frying bowl with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.
  3. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of free space around the back and sides of the appliance to allow for proper air circulation. Do not place it directly against a wall or under cabinets.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

The MalTec Air Fryer features a rapid heating and uniform heat distribution system for efficient cooking. Control is intuitive via the LCD touch screen.

6.1. General Operation

  1. Prepare Food: Place your ingredients into the frying basket. For best results, do not overfill the basket.
  2. Insert Basket: Slide the frying basket and bowl assembly back into the main unit until it clicks securely into place.
  3. Power On: Plug in the appliance. The display will light up.

6.2. Manual Mode (Temperature and Timer Adjustment)

  1. Set Temperature: Use the temperature control buttons (usually '+' and '-') to adjust the cooking temperature between 80°C and 200°C.
  2. Set Timer: Use the timer control buttons (usually '+' and '-') to set the cooking time, up to a maximum of 60 minutes.
  3. Start Cooking: Press the start button (often a power icon or 'M' for mode selection followed by start) to begin the cooking process.
  4. Monitoring: You can pull out the basket at any time to check on your food. The appliance will pause and resume cooking once the basket is reinserted.
  5. Completion: When the set time expires, the air fryer will automatically shut down and emit a sound signal (beep) to indicate that cooking is complete.

The air fryer comes with 7 pre-programmed settings for common dishes. These programs automatically set the optimal temperature and time.
