3. Device Overview

3.1. Buttons and Functions

The CYCPLUS M3 features three buttons: L, R1, and R2. Their functions in normal use are as follows. Please refer to the settings instructions for button operations within the settings menu.

4. Initial Setup

4.1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge your CYCPLUS M3 using the provided Type-C charging cable. The device has a 1500mAh battery, offering up to 100 hours of continuous use. Charging takes approximately 2.5 hours.

4.2. Mounting the Device

Use the provided bike computer mount, rubber pad, and rubber bands to securely attach the CYCPLUS M3 to your bicycle handlebars or stem.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off and Recording

  • Power On/Off: Long press the L button.
  • Start/Pause Recording: Short press the L button.
  • Save Record: Long press the R2 button.

5.2. GPS Positioning

The M3 offers accurate GPS positioning, quickly locating your position in just 10 seconds. This rapid positioning is achieved when reactivated within three days and within a straight-line distance of less than 200km from the previous usage location. You can also download offline ephemeris via the CYCPLUS Fit APP to minimize wait time (6-hour validity post-download).

5.3. ANT+ Sensor Compatibility

The CYCPLUS M3 is perfectly compatible with ANT+ sensors such as heart rate monitors, speed and cadence sensors, and power meters. Multiple sensors can be connected at once to provide comprehensive cycling data.

5.4. Customizable Data Display

The device features a 2.8-inch LCD screen that provides a clear data display. You can customize the data content and location for each page using the CYCPLUS Fit App.

6. Settings

For quick setup, open the CYCPLUS Fit APP to connect and configure the device. Alternatively, use the buttons to set the device as follows:

  • Long press the R1 button to enter settings.
  • Short press the R1 button to cycle through the 8 setting pages (C1-C8).

6.1. C2. ANT+ Sensors Connection

  1. Press the L button to start searching for ANT+ sensors.
  2. When the search starts, the device will check for four types of sensors: speed, heart rate, power, and cadence.
  3. If a sensor is detected, its data will be displayed. If no sensor is found, a horizontal line will appear in its place.
  4. The device will return to the home page after 10 seconds.

6.2. C9. Unpair The Paired Sensors

  1. Go to the C9 page in the settings menu.
  2. Press the L button to unpair all connected sensors.

6.3. C3. Wheel Circumference Setting

  1. Press the L button to start the setting process.
  2. Press the R1 button to adjust the value (the adjustable digit will flash).
  3. Press the R2 button to switch between digits.
  4. Press the L button to confirm and save the setting.
  5. Long press R1 to return to the home page after finishing.

6.4. C4. Time Zone Setting

  1. Press the L button to start the setting process.
  2. Press the R1 button to adjust the time zone (the adjustable digit will flash).
  3. Press the R2 button to switch to the minute digits, then press the R1 button to adjust them.
  4. Press the L button to confirm and save the setting.
  5. Long press R1 to return to the home page after finishing.

6.5. C5. Speed Unit Setting

  1. Press the L button to start the setting process.
  2. Press the R1 button to switch between KMH and MPH.
  3. Press the L button to confirm and save the setting.
  4. Long press R1 to return to the home page after finishing.

6.6. C6. Temperature Unit Setting

  1. Press the L button to start the setting process.
  2. Press the R1 button to switch between °C or °F.
  3. Press the L button to confirm and save the setting.
  4. Long press R1 to return to the home page after finishing.

6.7. C7. Factory Reset

  1. Press the L button to start the setting process.
  2. Press and hold the R2 button to restore factory settings. Then the device will power off.

6.8. C8. Odograph Setting

  1. Press the L button to start the setting process.
  2. Press the R1 button to adjust the value (the adjustable digit will flash).
  3. Press the R2 button to switch between digits.
  4. Press the L button to confirm and save the setting.
  5. Long press R1 to return to the home page after finishing.

7. App Connection

Download and use the CYCPLUS Fit App, which helps you use this device more conveniently and provides additional services support.

7.1. Download CYCPLUS Fit App

Scan the QR code or search for "CYCPLUS Fit" on Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS) to download the app.

7.2. Connect CYCPLUS M3 to App

  1. Download CYCPLUS FIT from Google Play (Android) or App Store.
  2. Log in and click on "Devices", then select the corresponding model of Bike computer M3.
  3. Scan and select your bike computer (called M3).
  4. Connect and then you can synchronize your data.

7.3. Download Ephemeris

The limited period for Ephemeris data is only 6 hours. Download it via the app to speed up GPS positioning.

7.4. Page Setup (Customizable Data Fields)

You can set the data content and location for each page by using the CYCPLUS Fit App's "Page Setup" feature.

7.5. Data Transmission to Strava

The CYCPLUS Fit App allows you to upload your ride data and synchronize it with Strava.

  1. In the CYCPLUS Fit App, navigate to your profile or settings.
  2. Look for an option like "Link Strava" or "Connect to Strava".
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to authorize the connection between CYCPLUS Fit and your Strava account.
  4. Once linked, your activities recorded by the M3 and uploaded to the CYCPLUS Fit App can be synchronized to Strava.

  • Keep the device clean by wiping it with a soft, damp cloth.

  • Ensure the Type-C charging port cover is properly sealed to maintain water resistance.

10. Troubleshooting

  • Device not turning on: Ensure the device is fully charged. Try long pressing the L button again.
  • GPS not acquiring signal: Ensure you are in an open area. Download Ephemeris data via the CYCPLUS Fit App to speed up positioning.
  • Sensors not connecting: Make sure your ANT+ sensors are active and within range. Check the C2 settings page to initiate a sensor search. If issues persist, try unpairing and re-pairing sensors (C9).
  • Data not syncing to app/Strava: Ensure the device is connected to the CYCPLUS Fit App via Bluetooth. Verify your internet connection. For Strava, ensure the CYCPLUS Fit App is authorized to connect to your Strava account.
  • Screen not clear: The 2.8" LCD screen is designed to prevent glare. Ensure the screen is clean and free from smudges.
