4. Setup

4.1. Download and Install APP

  1. Scan the QR code below or search for "HiEasy" in your application store (iOS/Android) to download and install the app.

4.2. Register and Login

  1. Click "New User Registration" to proceed.
  2. Choose your country code, then enter your mobile phone number or email address. Follow the prompts to register after passing the verification code.
  3. Enter your account and password to log in.

4.3. How to Add the 4G Camera in APP

Adding Way: Through scanning the camera body's QR code to add the device.

Steps:

  1. Ensure the camera is powered on and connected to the network. Wait for the voice prompt "xxxxxxx".
  2. Open the HiEasy APP. Click the "Add device" button in the middle of the home page or the "+" icon in the upper right corner.
  3. Scan the QR code located on the camera body to add the device.
  4. A blue light will turn on once the device is successfully added, indicating the camera is in wake-up status.

4.4. Physical Installation

The camera can be installed on a wall or under an eave using the provided bracket and screws. Ensure the solar panel is positioned to receive maximum sunlight for optimal charging.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Home Page Overview

The home page displays your added devices. You can view device names, camera numbers, and access message notifications. The 4G traffic management can also be accessed from here.

5.2. Live Video Page

From the live video page, you can:

  • View live feed from your camera.
  • Access device settings.
  • Share the device.
  • Control tracking.
  • Use two-way talk.
  • Switch to full screen.
  • Take photos or record locally.
  • Adjust video definition (HD, SD, Smooth).

5.3. Working Modes

Access working mode settings from the app to configure camera behavior:

  • AOV Mode: Device actively detects and records according to the set time interval.
  • Low Power Mode: Device only works and records when motion is triggered by moving objects.
  • Power Saving Mode: Closes device detection and recording functions, only supporting APP preview.
  • Video Clarity: HD/SD optional.
  • Recording Trigger Duration (for low power mode only): 5S/10S/15S/30S optional.

5.4. Alarm Management

Configure alarm settings to enhance security:

  • Alarm Sound: Device emits an alarm sound upon human detection. You can set the alarm sound type, volume, and duration.
  • Alarm Flashing Light: Strobe light automatically turns on after human shape detection.
  • Low Battery Alarm: Push notification when the battery reaches a low threshold.
  • Power Off Alarm: Push notification when the battery is about to be exhausted.

5.5. Power Setting

In this section, you can choose the power supply mode and whether the device should start up automatically when charging:

  • Power Line Power Supply: Device will start up automatically when charging.
  • Solar Power Supply: Device will start up automatically when charging.
  • Use Only Battery: Device will not start up automatically when charging.

Note: Different products may have different power supply modes; please configure based on your actual product.

5.6. Recording Playback

Check video recordings stored on the TF card via the app. You can fast play, turn sound on/off, and distinguish video recordings of different events by color.

5.7. PTZ Rotation and Optical Zoom

The camera supports 355° pan and 100° tilt, allowing you to remotely control its movement and zoom through the mobile app to monitor any area you desire.

5.8. AI Humanoid Detection & Auto Tracking

Enable humanoid detection and tracking functions on the APP. The camera supports automatic tracking and amplification, ensuring you don't miss important moments when a human moves in front of the camera.

5.9. Full Color Night Vision

This security camera offers two modes of night vision: Color and IR Night Vision. Normally in black and white mode, when the camera detects a moving object, it will automatically turn on the white light and switch to full-color night vision mode.

5.10. Two-Way Voice Intercom

Equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker, you can easily communicate with people in front of the camera no matter where you are.

5.11. Multi-Users Remote Access

After setting up the camera in the main account, it can be shared with multiple family members, allowing everyone to access the live feed and recordings remotely.

5.12. Preset Point Settings

You can set preset points in advance to quickly view important areas. This allows for vertical or horizontal cruise settings, returning to a specific direction with a single click.

6. Maintenance

6.1. General Cautions

  • Strictly prohibit water ingress.
  • Ensure the lens part has no stains or other objects covering it.
  • Do not always keep the sound alarm open.
  • Protect the battery component well.

6.2. Waterproof IP66

The outdoor solar camera is equipped with an IP66 rated weatherproof outer casing, designed to operate even in extreme weather conditions. This ensures protection against dust and powerful water jets.

6.3. Solar Energy

Connect the camera to the solar panel, and it will receive uninterrupted power all day and all night, reducing the need for manual charging.

7. Troubleshooting (FAQ)

Q: Cannot connect when adding device?
A: First, ensure the device's 4G traffic is sufficient. Then, long-press the device's Reset button for 5 seconds. Wait for the voice prompt "reset successful", then try adding the device again.
Q: Device is offline?
A: Ensure the device has power, a strong 4G signal, and sufficient 4G traffic.
Q: Cannot receive notifications on my smartphone?
A: Please check whether the notification function is enabled in the Message menu: Message > Setting.
Q: Did not find recording during playback?
A: Check if a TF card is installed and if it's damaged. Verify the device time and video playback time are correct.
Q: Device real-time video is laggy?
A: Check the 4G signal condition and try to ensure the 4G signal strength is above 3 bars. Check if the 4G signal is being interfered with; try moving the device to another place with better 4G coverage. You can also try switching the device's image definition.

7.1. Indicator Light Explanation

  • Indicator light off: Camera is in sleep or shutdown state.
  • Red light always on: Camera is starting.
  • Blue light slow blinking: Camera is connecting to the network.
  • Blue light always on: Camera is awake and connected to the network successfully.
  • Red light slow blinking: Camera is waiting for the APP to scan for adding.

9. User Tips

  • For optimal 4G signal, ensure the camera is placed in an area with good network coverage. If video is laggy, try repositioning the camera or checking for interference.
  • Remember to install a TF card for local video storage, as internal storage is not available. Cloud storage is also an option (paid subscription).
  • Utilize the preset point settings to quickly monitor frequently accessed areas without manual panning.
  • The camera does not support ONVIF or PC client software. All operations are managed through the HiEasy mobile app.
