Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Press the Home button to power on the controller. To power off, press and hold the Home button for a few seconds until the controller shuts down.

Platform Specific Functions

  • Nintendo Switch/Switch 2: The controller supports wake-up functionality for your console and utilizes the built-in six-axis gyroscope for motion-sensing games.
  • PC: The controller is compatible with PC and Steam. For optimal performance, ensure Bluetooth settings on Windows 10/11 have "Quickly Match" turned off to reduce potential delay.

Advanced Features

  • Joystick Anti-Bounce Mode: To activate this mode, which helps prevent accidental direction changes in games like "Super Smash Bros.", press the Screenshot Key + Settings Key simultaneously.
  • Vibration Mode Adjustment: The controller offers 9 distinct vibration modes with 3-level intensity. These can be cycled through by specific button presses (e.g., a short vibration for deadzone mode, two vibrations for stick anti-rebound, long vibration for high sampling rate no-deadzone mode). Refer to the controller's on-screen prompts or additional documentation for exact button combinations.
  • Back Buttons: The four back buttons feature a 30-second learning function, allowing you to map complex commands.
  • A-B-X-Y Swap Function (TT MAX only): Allows swapping the functions of the A, B, X, and Y buttons.
  • D-Pad 4-direction/8-direction Setting (TT MAX only): Adjust the D-Pad input sensitivity.
  • Rapid Fire Setting: Both TT MAX and TT PRO models support rapid fire functionality.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean your controller, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the controller's ports or openings. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Storage

Store the controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The Zero-Power Standby feature ensures the controller retains its charge for extended periods, even up to a year, making it ready for use when needed.

Troubleshooting

Understanding Reporting Rate and Latency

Reporting Rate: Measured in Hz, indicating how many times per second the controller sends data to the console.

Delay (Latency): Measured in milliseconds (ms), representing the time interval from when a controller button is pressed to when the console receives and responds.

Optimizing Performance

  • Windows 10/11 Bluetooth: For optimal performance, it is recommended to turn off the "Quickly Match" notification in Bluetooth settings. This can reduce approximately 1ms of delay.
  • 2.4G Interference: If using 2.4G wireless, connect via a 5G Wi-Fi band if possible. A 2.4G Wi-Fi band may interfere with Bluetooth channels, potentially reducing the reporting rate.
  • Joystick Deadzone/Sensitivity: The controller features a joystick with a deadzone mode and stick sensitivity adjustment. Experiment with these settings to find your preferred response.

Bluetooth Joystick Latency Test Result
