3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Device Installation

1. Attach the adhesive mount to a suitable location on your car's dashboard or windshield, ensuring it does not obstruct your view.
2. Securely attach the H70 Plus machine body to the adhesive mount.
3. Connect the provided car charger to the Type-C port on the device and plug it into your car's cigarette lighter socket.
4. If using the optional GPS antenna, connect it to the designated Type-C port.

3.2 Rear Camera Installation (Optional)

If you have purchased the H70 Plus with a rear camera, follow these steps:

1. Mount the rear camera in a suitable location at the back of your vehicle, typically above the license plate, ensuring a clear view.
2. Route the 6m rear camera cable from the rear camera to the main H70 Plus unit.
3. Connect the 4-pin connector of the rear camera cable to the AV IN port on the H70 Plus.
4. Connect the red wire from the rear camera cable to your car's back-up light positive (+) terminal. This enables the real-time reversing view feature when shifting into reverse.
5. Connect the black wire from the rear camera cable to your car's ground (GND).

3.3 Micro SD Card Insertion

1. Ensure the device is powered off.
2. Insert a U3 high-speed Micro SD card (up to 256GB) into the TF Card Slot until it clicks into place.
3. To remove, gently push the card until it pops out.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

• The device will automatically power on when your car starts and power off when the car is turned off.
• To manually power on/off, press and hold the power button (location not specified, typically on the side or back).

4.2 User Interface (UI) Navigation

The H70 Plus features an 11.4-inch QLED touch screen for intuitive control. You can switch between 3 UI styles and 6 themes to customize your experience.

4.3 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto

The device supports wireless CarPlay for Apple mobile phones and Android Auto for Android mobile phones, allowing you to cast apps directly onto the device screen.

1. Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your mobile phone.
2. On the H70 Plus, navigate to the CarPlay or Android Auto icon and tap it.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to pair your phone via Bluetooth. Once paired, CarPlay or Android Auto will automatically activate.
4. The 60FPS refresh rate provides a smoother control and visual experience compared to standard 30FPS systems.

4.4 Wireless Mirror Link (AirPlay/Miracast)

For other content mirroring, the device supports AirPlay for Apple devices and Miracast for Android devices.

1. Select the AirPlay or Miracast option on the H70 Plus.
2. On your mobile phone, enable screen mirroring/casting and select the H70 Plus from the available devices.

4.5 Recording Functions

The H70 Plus offers dual recording with a 4K front camera and an optional 1080P rear camera.

• Automatic Recording: Recording starts automatically when the device powers on.
• Loop Recording: Old files are automatically overwritten when the storage card is full.
• Time Lapse Monitoring: Options for 2h, 8h, 12h, or 24h monitoring (requires ACC cable, not included in all packages). This saves storage space and ensures key scenes are captured.
• Emergency Recording: The G-sensor detects sudden impacts and locks the current video segment to prevent it from being overwritten.

4.6 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)

• Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS): Alerts you if your vehicle drifts out of its lane. If using a GPS active antenna, this triggers above 50KM/h. Without GPS, it triggers upon lane departure regardless of speed.

4.7 Roadcam APP & GPS Tracking

2. Connect your mobile phone to the H70 Plus via Wi-Fi.
3. Use the app for live view, GPS tracking of your car's information, and to share or download recorded videos.

4.8 Audio Output Options

The H70 Plus offers several ways to output audio:

• Bluetooth Audio: For CarPlay or Android Auto use only. Connect your phone directly to your car's original Bluetooth system.
• AUX Out Audio: Connect the provided AUX cable from the H70 Plus to your vehicle's AUX interface for direct, high-fidelity sound.
• Dual-channel FM Transmitter: Connects to your car's original radio. Tune your car radio to the same FM frequency as the H70 Plus (e.g., FM 90.00 MHz). This connection is typically manual once and then automatic.
• Native Audio: The device has a built-in speaker for direct audio playback.

4.9 Real-time Reversing View

When the rear camera is installed and wired correctly, the device will automatically display the rear view when you shift into reverse.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Device Stuck on 'Welcome' Interface

Problem: The device gets stuck on the 'welcome' interface after booting up.

Solution: Ensure you are using the standard car charger included in the package. Do not use a USB cable or other non-standard car chargers, as they may not provide sufficient power.

7.2 Device Restarts After Booting Up

Problem: The device restarts unexpectedly after booting up.

Solution:

1. Verify you are using the standard car charger provided.
2. Ensure you are using a U3 high-speed TF card. Lower speed cards can cause instability.

7.3 CarPlay Connection Issues

Problem: Unable to connect to CarPlay.

Solution:

1. Forget Bluetooth: On your iPhone, go to Bluetooth settings, forget the H70 Plus device, and try to reconnect.
2. Restart Devices: If the connection is still unsuccessful, restart both your iPhone and the H70 Plus. Wait for 15 seconds, then restart and try again.
3. Check iPhone CarPlay Settings: If only 'Bluetooth Pairing Request' and 'Allow Contacts and Favorites Sync' pop-ups appear, but not 'Use CarPlay with "CarPlay"', check your iPhone's 'Settings > General > CarPlay'. If the H70 Plus is listed, delete it and try connecting again.

7.4 Android Auto Connection Issues

Problem: Unable to connect to Android Auto.

Solution:

1. Update Android Auto: Update the Android Auto program on your phone and ensure wireless connection is enabled in the Android Auto settings.
2. Disconnect Other Bluetooth: Disconnect any other Bluetooth devices from your phone, ignore the H70 Plus Bluetooth connection, and try to reconnect.
3. Restart Devices: Restart the H70 Plus and try to reconnect your phone's Bluetooth. If needed, restart your phone and turn off the device for 15 seconds before attempting to connect again.
