Please read this manual carefully before using the Zefiora Z10 Folding Electric Bicycle. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or damage to the product.
1.1 General Safety Warnings
- ⚠ Disclaimer: Please mind potential fire risk and strictly follow the instruction manual for charging and storage. While using the product, please wear protective equipment and fully comply with the applicable law and regulations.
- Do not use the bicycle until you have read and understood its performance.
- Do not lend it to people who cannot manipulate the product for riding.
- Always wear a safety helmet when riding.
- Follow all local traffic rules and regulations. Do not ride on motorized lanes or roads with many pedestrians.
1.2 Battery and Charging Safety
- Charge the battery at temperatures between 0°C-45°C.
- Discharge the battery at temperatures between -20°C-60°C.
- Keep the battery dry. Do not expose it to acidic or alkaline liquids, rain, fire, heat, or high-temperature environments.
- It is strictly forbidden to connect the positive and negative poles of the battery reversely.
- Do not damage, disassemble, or short-circuit the battery.
- Use only the specific original charger provided. Charging time should not exceed 5 hours.
- Store the battery in a cool and dry place. If not in use for a long time, charge the battery for five hours every three months.
- When charging, place the bicycle in a ventilated environment. Do not charge in residential buildings, confined spaces, or in hot sun/high-temperature environments.
- When charging, connect the battery to the charger first, then plug the charger into the AC power supply. When fully charged (indicator turns green), disconnect the mains first, then the battery.
- Do not leave the charger connected to AC power without load for a long time.
- If the indicator light is abnormal, there is a peculiar smell, or the charger casing overheats during charging, stop charging immediately and seek repair or replacement.
1.3 Riding Safety
- Before riding, check whether the brakes are working correctly. Activate the rear brake first, then the front brake.
- Pay attention to brake lightness; adjust if too loose or too tight.
- Suitable age for riding: 16 to 65 years old.
- Check tire pressure before use. Recommended tire pressure is 35-42 PSI.
- Tighten any loose screws with an Allen key.
- Pay attention to braking distance, especially in wet conditions.
- When riding downhill or on unpaved roads, ensure speed does not exceed 9 MPH.
- One-handed riding is prohibited.

4. Setup and Assembly
The Zefiora Z10 electric bicycle comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to complete the setup.
4.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Check for any visible damage or missing parts. If anything is amiss, contact customer support immediately.
4.2 Folding Operation
The Z10 features a convenient 3-step folding design:
- Loosen: Locate the quick-release levers on the frame and handlebar stem. Loosen them.
- Fold: Fold the main frame and handlebar stem downwards.
- Lock: Secure the folded components using the locking mechanisms.

4.3 Battery Installation and Removal
- Removal: Turn the key to the left, then hold it while pushing the battery out.
- Installation: Align the battery pack with the slot and push it in until it locks securely.

5. Operating Instructions
Familiarize yourself with the controls and riding modes of your Zefiora Z10 electric bicycle.
5.1 Power On/Off
- Power On: Insert the key into the power switch (Figure 5.1) and turn it to the right to turn on the power.
- Lights On: Continue to turn the key further to the right to activate the lights.

5.2 Riding Modes
The Zefiora Z10 offers three distinct riding modes:
- Throttle Mode: Provides electric power without pedaling. Range: 16-20 miles.
- Pedal Assist Mode: The motor automatically provides assistance as you pedal. Range: 22-30 miles.
- Bike Mode: Functions as a traditional bicycle, with no electric assistance. Ride as far as you want.

5.3 Acceleration and Braking
- Acceleration: Gently twist the right handlebar to accelerate.
- Braking: Use the brake levers on the handlebars. Always engage the rear brake slightly before the front brake for stable stopping. The electrical safety system automatically cuts off power during braking.
5.4 LCD Display
The integrated LCD screen provides essential information during your ride, including:
- Battery level
- Speed
- Riding mode
6. Battery and Charging
Proper battery care and charging are crucial for the longevity and performance of your Zefiora Z10.
6.1 Charging Procedure
- Locate the charging port on the right side of the battery.
- Remove the protective cover from the charging port.
- Connect the charger to the battery's charging port.
- Plug the charger into a suitable AC power outlet.
- The charger indicator light will typically be red during charging and turn green when fully charged.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the charger from the AC power outlet first, then from the battery.

6.2 Battery Care
- Avoid completely draining the battery. Charge it regularly, even if not used frequently.
- Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) for extended periods.
- If the battery is damaged or shows signs of overheating, discontinue use and seek professional assistance.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the safe and efficient operation of your Zefiora Z10 electric bicycle.
- Regular Checks: Regularly check all screws and fasteners on the bicycle. Tighten them as needed. Recommended torque values: horizontal screws 60-80 kgt.cm, stem screws 175-200 kgt.cm, seat cushion screws 175-200 kgt.cm, wheel screws 320-450 kgt.cm.
- Tires: Inspect tires for scratches, cracks, or excessive wear. Ensure the inner tube and valve are perpendicular to the wheel hub and not crooked. Replace damaged or excessively worn tires immediately. Consult a professional technician for tire replacement or puncture repair.
- Storage: After riding, store the bike in a place away from direct sunlight and rain. Do not park it in building halls, evacuation stairwells, or safety exits. Park it in accordance with safety rules.
- Cleaning: Clean the bicycle regularly with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure water jets directly on electrical components.
8. Troubleshooting
