3. Setup

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

  • Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with a small amount of water or isopropyl alcohol to wipe down the keycaps and chassis.
  • For deeper cleaning, use the provided 2-in-1 switch puller to carefully remove keycaps and clean underneath with compressed air or a small brush.
  • Ensure the keyboard is completely dry before reconnecting it.

5.2 Switch Replacement (Hot-Swappable)

The ATK RS6 features hot-swappable magnetic switches, allowing for easy replacement without soldering.

  1. Using the switch puller, gently grip the switch you wish to remove.
  2. Pull straight up to extract the switch from the PCB.
  3. Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB.
  4. Gently push the new switch down until it clicks into place. Ensure it is seated firmly and evenly.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Keyboard not responding: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try a different USB port or cable.
