6. Troubleshooting

Common Problems and Solutions

Why will the Box's Bluetooth disconnect?

The wireless CarPlay/Android Auto system establishes a Wi-Fi connection to transmit data after initial Bluetooth pairing. To avoid interference, the Bluetooth connection will intentionally disconnect. This is a normal phenomenon and does not indicate a fault.

I cannot connect CarPlay, but Bluetooth is already paired.

If you are experiencing issues connecting CarPlay despite Bluetooth being paired, please try the following:

  1. On your iPhone, forget the device's Bluetooth connection.
  2. Reset your Wi-Fi settings on your iPhone: Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
  3. Attempt to pair and connect again.

Why is the wireless CarPlay not stable?

If your wireless CarPlay connection is unstable, consider these solutions:

  1. Module Placement: Ensure the CarPlay box is not blocked by metal components in its mounted position, as this can impair Wi-Fi signal transmission.
  2. Wi-Fi Channel: Switch the Wi-Fi channel. Enter the CarPlay box settings: Factory Mode > Connectivity Settings > Hotspot Band > Select 1, 6, or 11, depending on your current region to find the most stable channel.

7. User Tips

  • Verify Package Contents: Upon receiving your module, carefully check all included cables and components against the packing list to ensure everything is present for installation.
  • Professional Installation Recommended: While designed for plug-and-play, professional installation is highly recommended to avoid damage to your vehicle's electrical system and ensure optimal performance.
  • Regular Software Updates: Check the manufacturer's website (www.anyfar.com) periodically for any available firmware updates to ensure the best compatibility and performance.
