  5. Using the Sun Hood:

Attach the sun hood cover to the monitor to reduce glare and improve visibility in bright outdoor conditions. The 400 Nit brightness of the screen is optimized for field video shooting.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning:

Gently wipe the screen and body of the monitor with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaning solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

  • Storage:

When not in use, store the monitor in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the provided protective pouch to prevent scratches and dust accumulation.

  • Battery Care:

If using rechargeable batteries, ensure they are charged regularly and stored properly. Remove batteries if the monitor will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

Troubleshooting

  • No Power:

Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted, or that the AC adapter is securely connected to a working power outlet. Check the power switch is in the 'ON' position.

  • No Video Signal:

Verify that the video cable (HDMI, SDI, AV, YPbPr) is securely connected to both the camera/camcorder and the monitor. Ensure the correct input source is selected on the monitor. Check your camera's video output settings.

  • Poor Image Quality:

Check the resolution settings on both the camera and the monitor. Ensure the cable is not damaged. Adjust brightness, contrast, and color temperature settings on the monitor.

  • Buttons/Menu Unresponsive:

Try restarting the monitor by turning it off and on. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
