3.2 Charging the Device
The device supports USB charging. Connect one end of the USB cable to a computer's USB port, then connect the other end to the device's charging port to start charging. Charging is complete when the battery icon stops flashing.
Important: Use a standard 5V-1A or 5V-2A charger or charge via a computer USB port. Do not use a fast charger exceeding 30W, as this MP3 player does not support fast charging. New batteries require several charge-discharge cycles to reach optimal performance. Under normal circumstances, the unit takes about 3 hours to fully charge. After charging, unplug it from the USB port – do not leave it connected to power for long periods.
3.3 Power On/Off
- Power On: In the powered-off state, press and hold the power button (the short button on the side) until the system enters the boot screen.
- Power Off: In the powered-on state, press and hold the power button to initiate the shutdown process.

4.2 Main Interface Introduction
- Status Bar: The top bar of the interface displays information including time, battery, power level, and Bluetooth status icons.
- Function Icons: Tap the icons directly on the main interface to access various functions or configure relevant settings.
4.3 Basic Navigation
- Home Button: The small circle button at the bottom of the screen acts as the home button. Press it to return to the homepage with one click.
- Return: Tap the "←" icon in the top-left corner to return to the previous menu.
4.4 Volume Adjustment
- Buttons: In the playback interface, briefly press the side "Volume Up" button to increase the volume (the volume value will show the increase); briefly press the side "Volume Down" button to decrease the volume (the volume value will show the decrease).
- Touch: A volume bar will pop up on the desktop; drag the slider to adjust the volume level.
4.5 Wi-Fi Setup
To connect to Wi-Fi, go to Settings, then select WLAN. Turn on WLAN and select your desired network. Enter the password if required to connect.

The device comes with the Google Play Store pre-installed. Open the Play Store to select or search for desired applications. Click to download and install. You can download various apps such as Spotify, YouTube, TikTok, Amazon Music, Apple Music, Pandora Music, YK Music, and more. Newspaper fiction software can also run smoothly.

The Famue BF12 supports almost all common audio formats (MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, APE, OGG, M4A, WMA, DTS, etc.). Open your preferred streaming apps to enjoy high-quality music, or download tracks online for offline listening. Alternatively, you can transfer your favorite music files to the player via a USB cable. Use the music scanning feature to scan and load these files into the music app and create unlimited playlists. Simply search by song title to quickly locate your favorite tracks.

The Famue BF12 MP3 player features a 4-inch HD touchscreen and supports full-format 720p/1080p HD video playback, including RM, AVI, RMVB, 3GP, FLV, MP4, DAT, MKV, MPG, MOV, and TS formats. Videos can be played directly without format conversion. You can also import downloaded videos directly into the player for seamless playback, providing an unparalleled cinematic experience.

On the main interface, tap the "Images" icon to enter. Tap a target file to open it. Once the image is displayed, a back button and toolbar will appear at the top. The toolbar includes functions: Delete, Play Slideshow, Edit, Rotate Left/Right, Crop, Set as Background, Details, and Print. The "pencil" icon in the bottom-left corner allows image editing. Swipe left/right to turn pages.
4.8 FM Radio
On the main interface, tap the "Radio" icon to enter. Use the "<" and ">" buttons to manually fine-tune the radio frequency to select a station. Use "◄" and "►" to quickly switch between saved stations (the "★" marks saved frequencies). The "=" icon in the top-right corner triggers auto-search for radio frequencies. The "headphone" icon lets you switch between headphone and speaker output; the "microphone" icon enables recording of the radio audio. Tap "play" to play the radio, or "pause" to pause.
4.9 Voice Recorder
On the main interface, tap the "Recorder" icon to enter:
- Start Recording: Tap "record" to begin recording.
- Pause/Resume Recording: Tap "||" to pause, then tap "play" again to resume.
- Save Recording: Tap "■" to save the recording.
- Recording File List: Tap "list" to view recorded files. (Note: Recording formats are WAV and MP3.)
4.10 Calendar
On the main interface, tap the "Calendar" icon to enter. Use the "arrow" icon in the top-left corner to switch between daily, weekly, monthly, and schedule views. Select a specific day to add notes or other information. The ":" menu bar includes functions: Create New Event, Refresh, Search, Display Calendar, Clear All Events, Jump To, and Settings.
5. File Management
On the main interface, tap the "Files" icon to enter. Here you can view files stored on the device or in the TF card. Tap a target file to open it; if you tap media content (like music, videos, or images) within the file, you'll be directed to the corresponding functional interface (e.g., Music, Video, or Gallery). This feature also supports creating new folders and searching for files. Long-press a file to access functions including Copy, Cut, Share, Delete, Rename, and View Details.
6. Bluetooth Connectivity
On the main interface, tap the "Bluetooth" icon to enter. Tap the switch in the top-right corner to turn on Bluetooth, then tap "Search for New Devices" to connect to available devices (it will also automatically reconnect to previously paired devices)—the Bluetooth icon at the top will change to "B" when connected. From the "Available Devices" list shown after searching, tap the desired device to establish a connection.
7. Settings
On the main interface, select "Settings" to enter. The following configurations are available:
- WLAN: Connect to WiFi networks.
- Bluetooth: Pair with other Bluetooth devices (e.g., phones, Bluetooth headsets, speakers).
- Memory: View the internal storage status of the device.
- Apps & Notifications: View recently opened applications and manage notification permissions.

- Display: Adjust screen brightness, night mode, wallpaper, sleep time, screen rotation, font size, font style, and screen saver.

8. TF Card Usage
The device has a TF card expansion slot, which can store videos, images, e-books, etc.
- To insert: Insert the card correctly into the slot, push it inward until you hear a "click".
- To remove: Push the card inward slightly, then release – the card will pop out automatically, and you can then take it out.

10. Precautions and Safety
- Please keep the product away from electromagnetic environments, as well as harsh conditions like excessive humidity and smoke/dust.

Consider downloading installation packages of frequently used apps to a designated folder, installing them when needed, and temporarily uninstalling them when not in use.

12. Troubleshooting
Device Freezes / Unresponsive
If the player freezes, insert a stylus or a thin, pointed object into the "RESET" button to reset the device (the system will force a restart). If the device still fails to power on after a reset, check if it is out of battery.
