1. Product Introduction

The Womier MT75 is a versatile 75% mechanical keyboard designed for an enhanced typing experience and personalized aesthetics. It features a gasket-mounted structure, a rotary knob, and a dot-matrix display.

2. Setup and Pairing

2.1. Bluetooth Mode

  1. Switch the toggle on the keyboard to the middle Bluetooth position.
  2. Press and hold FN + 1, FN + 2, or FN + 3 to enter pairing mode. The backlight of the corresponding key will flash rapidly.
  3. On your device (PC, laptop, tablet, phone), search for the keyboard's Bluetooth name and click to connect.
  4. Short press FN + 1, FN + 2, or FN + 3 to switch between Bluetooth channels 1, 2, and 3.

2.2. 2.4G Mode

  1. Switch the toggle on the keyboard to the left 2.4G position.
  2. Press and hold FN + 4 to initiate pairing. The backlight of key "4" will flash rapidly.
  3. Insert the 2.4G receiver into your device's USB port.
  4. Wait for the pairing to complete successfully before use.

2.3. Wired Mode

  1. Switch the toggle on the keyboard to the right USB position.
  2. Connect the keyboard to your device using a Type-C cable. The keyboard will automatically operate in wired mode.

3. Operation

3.1. Sleep Mode Settings

You can adjust the keyboard's sleep timer using the FN + T shortcut. The 'T' key backlight will flash three times to indicate the selected setting:

  • Blue: 10 minutes (default)
  • Red: 1 minute
  • Green: 3 minutes
  • White: 30 minutes

3.2. Screen and Knob Functions

The dot-matrix display offers six dynamic lighting effects:

  1. Startup Effect: Displays an expanding heart shape when the keyboard powers on.
  2. Scanning Effect: Simulates a radar scanning animation.
  3. Typewriter Effect: Provides real-time feedback on the display with each keystroke. Custom patterns can be designed via software.
  4. Raindrop Effect: Lights combine to create a falling raindrop effect.
  5. Terminal Effect: Each character input lights up one pixel, mimicking PC coding with random line jumps on continuous typing.
  6. Custom Effect: Allows users to create static or dynamic patterns using the driver software.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the keyboard surface. For deeper cleaning, remove keycaps using the provided keycap puller and clean with compressed air or a small brush.
  • Switch Replacement: The keyboard features hot-swappable switches. Use the provided switch puller to carefully remove switches for replacement or lubrication.
  • Storage: Store the keyboard in a dry, dust-free environment when not in use.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the keyboard frequently. Charge it regularly.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Keyboard not connecting via Bluetooth/2.4G:
    1. Ensure the keyboard is in the correct mode (Bluetooth or 2.4G) using the toggle switch.
    2. Re-enter pairing mode by holding FN + 1/2/3 (Bluetooth) or FN + 4 (2.4G).
    3. Check if the receiver is properly inserted for 2.4G mode.
    4. Verify your device's Bluetooth is enabled and searching for new devices.
    5. Try restarting both the keyboard and your device.
  • Keys not responding:
    1. Ensure the keyboard is charged or connected via USB.
    2. If in wireless mode, check battery level (FN + Space).
    3. If a specific key is not working, it might be a faulty switch. Since it's hot-swappable, you can try replacing the switch.
    4. Try restoring factory settings by holding FN + Delete for 3 seconds.
  • Backlight not working or stuck:
    1. Adjust backlight brightness using FN + ↑/↓.
    2. Switch backlight effects using FN + \ or colors with FN + Enter.
    3. Ensure all backlights are not turned off (FN + Backspace).
    4. Restore factory settings if issues persist.
  • Knob not adjusting volume/muting:
    1. Ensure the keyboard is properly connected to your device.
    2. Check your device's audio settings.
    3. Try restarting the keyboard.

7. User Tips

  • Customization: Utilize the downloadable software from www.womierkeyboard.com/pages/softwares to fully customize key mappings, macros, and lighting effects, including custom patterns for the dot-matrix display.
  • Hot-Swappable Switches: Experiment with different mechanical switches to find your preferred typing feel without needing to solder.
  • Battery Management: For optimal wireless performance, keep an eye on the battery level using FN + Space and charge when necessary. The 8000mAh battery offers extended usage.
  • Multi-Device Use: Take advantage of the tri-mode connectivity to seamlessly switch between up to three Bluetooth devices and one 2.4G wireless device, in addition to wired mode.
