Featuring a vibrant color touchscreen, multi-satellite positioning, and extensive sensor compatibility, it's built to enhance every ride, from daily commutes to challenging tours.

4. Setup Guide

4.1 Mounting the Device

Use the provided bike computer stem mount and rubber bands to securely attach the CC700 Pro to your bicycle's stem. Ensure the mount is firm and the device clicks into place. A spare mount is included for convenience.

4.2 Initial Power-On and Language Selection

  1. Press and hold the power button to turn on the device. The CC700 Pro powers up in approximately 3 seconds.
  2. Upon first use, you will be prompted to select your preferred language from the 11 available options.

4.3 Connecting to Wi-Fi

Connect your CC700 Pro to a 2.4G Wi-Fi network to automatically download ephemeris data, upload ride history, and sync your settings.

  1. Navigate to the Wi-Fi settings on your device.
  2. Select your desired 2.4G Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
  3. Once connected, the device will automatically sync data.

4.4 Syncing with Phone/App

For quick navigation and detailed ride analysis, sync your CC700 Pro with its designated mobile application.

  1. Step 1: Sync your phone. Download and open the GEOID companion app on your smartphone.
  2. Step 2: Locate the Quick Navigation Bar. Within the app, find the quick navigation bar.
  3. Step 3: Enter your destination. Input your desired destination in the app to start navigation on your CC700 Pro.

4.5 Sensor Pairing (ANT+/Bluetooth)

The CC700 Pro is compatible with a wide range of external sensors using both ANT+ and Bluetooth standard protocols.

  • Supported sensors include: Speed sensor, Cadence sensor, Speed & Cadence sensor, Heart rate monitor, Power meter, Smart trainer, Electronic shifting, Radar, Bike light, Camera.
  • To pair, navigate to the 'Sensors' menu on your device, select 'Add New Sensor', and follow the on-screen instructions to detect and connect your external devices.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Navigation (Touchscreen & Buttons)

The CC700 Pro features an intuitive touchscreen interface complemented by three physical buttons for quick and safe operation during your ride.

5.2 GPS Positioning

The device utilizes 5 satellite systems (GPS, BEIDOU, GLONASS, GALILEO, and QZSS) for rapid 5-second positioning. For optimal performance:

  • Ensure AGNS data is valid (typically for 14 days).
  • Power on/off the CC700 Pro near the same location and maintain an open area for operation to achieve the latest AGNS data synchronization.

5.3 Navigation Modes

The CC700 Pro offers intuitive dual-perspective navigation:

  • North-Up: Map orientation remains fixed with North at the top.
  • Head-Up: Map rotates so your current direction of travel is always at the top.

Switch freely between these views. The color-coded map, with turn prompts and street names, makes navigation easy to follow. If you go off-route, the navigation instantly recalculates your path, allowing you to continue without turning back (requires connection to the designated app).

5.4 Customizing Cycling Pages

The cycling page can be customized to suit various riding modes, including touring, commuting, or daily rides. You can select from 108 data types to display the information most relevant to your ride.

5.5 Indoor Training Modes

The CC700 Pro supports three indoor training modes, compatible with all ANT+ protocol-enabled trainers:

  • Target Power Mode
  • Resistance Mode
  • Incline Mode

During indoor cycling, you can adjust intensity, sensors, and brightness at any time through the display menu.

5.6 Connecting to Action Cameras

After connecting to a DJI action camera (compatible only with DJI Action 4 and Action 5 Pro), the cycling page automatically adds a control dial UI. This allows you to switch between modes and start/stop recording directly from your CC700 Pro.

5.7 Message Notifications

Your bike computer can display detailed mobile phone message notifications. This feature can be freely enabled or disabled in the settings. Supported software types include Phone calls, messaging, email, WeChat, Skype, WhatsApp, and Line.

5.8 Data Analysis and Sharing

Connect your CC700 Pro to the designated app for in-depth data analysis. You can also share your ride data with third-party platforms such as Strava and TrainingPeaks. Data can be exported as FIT files. (Note: Komoot is not supported at this time.)

5.9 Auto-Save and Recovery

The CC700 Pro features auto-save and recovery, ensuring your ride progress is preserved even after unexpected shutdowns. If a ride is interrupted, you will be prompted to continue or save the unfinished ride upon restart.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Waterproof Rating

The CC700 Pro has an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning it can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. It is suitable for use in rain and wet conditions, but not for prolonged submersion.

6.2 Screen Care

The 2.8-inch color screen features a robust 6H hardness and a smudge-proof nano coating. To maintain clarity and responsiveness:

  • Wipe the screen gently with a soft, lint-free cloth.
  • Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
  • A tempered glass screen protector is included for additional protection.

6.3 General Cleaning

Clean the device body with a damp cloth. Ensure the Type-C charging port is dry before charging.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Device not powering on: Ensure the device is fully charged using the provided Type-C cable.
  • GPS signal issues: Ensure you are in an open area with a clear view of the sky. Check that AGNS data is up-to-date by connecting to Wi-Fi.
  • Sensor not connecting: Verify the sensor's battery is charged and it is within range. Ensure the sensor is not already paired with another device. Check the device's sensor settings for proper pairing.
  • Wi-Fi connection problems: Confirm you are connecting to a 2.4G Wi-Fi network, as 5G networks are not supported. Double-check the Wi-Fi password.
  • Route recalculation not working: Ensure your CC700 Pro remains connected to the designated mobile app for this feature to function.
  • Screen unresponsiveness: Gently clean the screen. If the issue persists, try restarting the device.

8. User Tips

  • Regular Wi-Fi Sync: Connect your device to Wi-Fi regularly to ensure ephemeris data is updated, which improves GPS acquisition speed and accuracy.
  • Firmware Updates: Periodically check for firmware updates via the companion app or Wi-Fi to benefit from new features and performance improvements.
  • Button Familiarity: While the touchscreen is intuitive, familiarize yourself with the three physical buttons for quick and safe operation, especially when riding in challenging conditions or wearing gloves.
  • Map Management: With 8GB of storage, you have ample space for maps. Manage your downloaded maps through the device settings or companion app to optimize storage.
  • GPX Route Planning: Utilize the GPX import feature for planning long routes (up to 1000km) to ensure you have detailed navigation for your adventures.
