5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Navigation (Touchscreen & Buttons)
The CC700 Pro features an intuitive touchscreen interface complemented by three physical buttons for quick and safe operation during your ride.
5.2 GPS Positioning
The device utilizes 5 satellite systems (GPS, BEIDOU, GLONASS, GALILEO, and QZSS) for rapid 5-second positioning. For optimal performance:
- Ensure AGNS data is valid (typically for 14 days).
- Power on/off the CC700 Pro near the same location and maintain an open area for operation to achieve the latest AGNS data synchronization.
5.3 Navigation Modes
The CC700 Pro offers intuitive dual-perspective navigation:
- North-Up: Map orientation remains fixed with North at the top.
- Head-Up: Map rotates so your current direction of travel is always at the top.
Switch freely between these views. The color-coded map, with turn prompts and street names, makes navigation easy to follow. If you go off-route, the navigation instantly recalculates your path, allowing you to continue without turning back (requires connection to the designated app).
5.4 Customizing Cycling Pages
The cycling page can be customized to suit various riding modes, including touring, commuting, or daily rides. You can select from 108 data types to display the information most relevant to your ride.
5.5 Indoor Training Modes
The CC700 Pro supports three indoor training modes, compatible with all ANT+ protocol-enabled trainers:
- Target Power Mode
- Resistance Mode
- Incline Mode
During indoor cycling, you can adjust intensity, sensors, and brightness at any time through the display menu.
5.6 Connecting to Action Cameras
After connecting to a DJI action camera (compatible only with DJI Action 4 and Action 5 Pro), the cycling page automatically adds a control dial UI. This allows you to switch between modes and start/stop recording directly from your CC700 Pro.
5.7 Message Notifications
Your bike computer can display detailed mobile phone message notifications. This feature can be freely enabled or disabled in the settings. Supported software types include Phone calls, messaging, email, WeChat, Skype, WhatsApp, and Line.
5.8 Data Analysis and Sharing
Connect your CC700 Pro to the designated app for in-depth data analysis. You can also share your ride data with third-party platforms such as Strava and TrainingPeaks. Data can be exported as FIT files. (Note: Komoot is not supported at this time.)
5.9 Auto-Save and Recovery
The CC700 Pro features auto-save and recovery, ensuring your ride progress is preserved even after unexpected shutdowns. If a ride is interrupted, you will be prompted to continue or save the unfinished ride upon restart.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Waterproof Rating
The CC700 Pro has an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning it can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. It is suitable for use in rain and wet conditions, but not for prolonged submersion.
6.2 Screen Care
The 2.8-inch color screen features a robust 6H hardness and a smudge-proof nano coating. To maintain clarity and responsiveness:
- Wipe the screen gently with a soft, lint-free cloth.
