7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your SMAILWOLF M3Pro mouse, please refer to the following common solutions:
- Mouse not responding:
- Check the battery level and charge the mouse if necessary.
- Ensure the correct connection mode (Wired, 2.4G, or Bluetooth) is selected via the switch on the bottom of the mouse.
- For 2.4G wireless, ensure the USB receiver is properly inserted into a working USB port. Try re-pairing the mouse as described in the 2.4G connection section.
- For Bluetooth, ensure the mouse is correctly paired with your device. Try unpairing and re-pairing the mouse.
- Try connecting the mouse to a different USB port or another computer to rule out port or computer-specific issues.
- Lag or erratic movement:
- Ensure the mouse is used on a clean, non-reflective surface suitable for optical tracking.
- Check for potential wireless interference from other devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, other wireless peripherals) if using 2.4G or Bluetooth.
- Ensure the mouse is within the effective range of the 2.4G receiver or Bluetooth connection (up to 10 meters).
- Consider adjusting the DPI settings to a lower value if movement is too sensitive.
- Buttons not working:
- Check for any physical obstructions preventing the buttons from clicking properly.
- Ensure the mouse is powered on and properly connected.
8. User Tips
- Many users appreciate the lightweight design (approx. 65g) for extended use without fatigue, especially for small and medium-sized hands.
- The magnetic charging base offers convenient charging and a stable dock, keeping your workspace tidy.
- Experiment with the 6 DPI settings to find the perfect sensitivity for your tasks or games. Higher DPI is often preferred for fast-paced gaming, while lower DPI suits precision work.
