1. Introduction

The Flytec V805 RC GPS Mini Bait Boat is an advanced remote-controlled fishing tool designed to enhance your fishing experience. Its compact body allows navigation through narrow waterways, catering to diverse fishing environments. Equipped with a built-in water temperature sensor, it provides real-time feedback to help locate fish schools efficiently. 2. Safety Information

  • WARNING: Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts.
  • Always operate the bait boat in open water, away from swimmers, other boats, and obstacles.
  • Ensure all components are securely fastened before operation.
  • Do not operate the boat in extreme weather conditions (strong winds, heavy rain).
  • Keep batteries away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
  • Always use the provided charging cables and power adapters.
  • Avoid contact with moving propellers.

4.1 Bait Boat Components

  • Joystick: Controls boat direction (forward/backward/left/right).
  • Cruise: Activates cruise control.
  • Calibration: For GPS calibration.
  • Fishing Ground: Sets or selects fishing grounds.
  • Cursor Left/Right: Navigates menu options.
  • Electronic Anchor: Activates virtual anchoring.
  • Baiting: Releases bait from the silo.
  • Origin Button: Sets or returns to the origin point.
  • Clear Button: Clears settings or selections.
  • Light Button: Controls boat lights.
  • OK Button: Confirms selections.
  • Indicator: Remote control power/status indicator.
  • Switch: Power on/off for the remote control.
  • Remote Battery Compartment: Houses the remote control's built-in battery.

4.3 Fish Finder Components (Optional)

  • Fish Finder Unit: Main display and control unit.
  • Wireless Sonar Sensor: Floats on water to detect fish and depth.
  • Annunciator: Antenna for the Fish Finder unit.
  • USB Insertion: Charging port for the Fish Finder unit.
  • Detector: The wireless sonar sensor.
  • Pull Rope: To attach the sonar sensor to the boat or a separate line.

5. Initial Setup

5.1 Battery Installation and Charging

Boat Battery:

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the bait boat.
  2. Insert the boat battery into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  4. To charge, connect the USB charging cable to the boat battery and a suitable USB power source.

Remote Control Battery:

The remote control has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery.

  1. When the remote control battery is low, it will emit a ticking sound.
  2. Connect the Type-C remote control charging cable to the remote control's charging port and a USB power source to recharge.

Fish Finder Battery (if applicable):

  1. Open the battery cover on the Fish Finder unit.
  2. Insert 3A batteries (not included) into the compartment, observing polarity.
  3. Close the battery cover.
  4. The wireless sonar sensor is charged via its charging port using a dedicated charging cable.

5.2 Antenna Installation

Screw the antenna onto the designated port on the bait boat and the Fish Finder unit (if included).

5.3 Propeller Installation

If the propellers are not pre-installed, carefully attach them to the motor shafts at the stern of the boat. Ensure they are secure but can rotate freely.

5.4 Applying Stickers (Optional)

Use the provided stickers to personalize your bait boat. Refer to the sticker sheet for design options.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

  1. Turn on the remote control using its power switch.
  2. Turn on the bait boat using its power switch. The boat and remote control should automatically pair.
  3. To power off, reverse the sequence.

6.2 Basic Navigation

Use the joystick on the remote control to maneuver the boat:

  • Push forward: Boat moves forward.
  • Pull backward: Boat moves backward.
  • Push left/right: Boat turns left/right.

6.3 GPS and Navigation Features

The V805 features a built-in GPS+Beidou positioning system for accurate navigation.

  • Setting Fishing Grounds and Anchor Points: The system supports setting up to 4 fishing grounds and 24 anchor points. Use the 'Fishing Ground' button and cursor controls on the remote to define and save these locations.
  • Electronic Anchor: Activate the 'Electronic Anchor' function to fix the boat's position, resisting water flow and wind interference.

  • Cruise Control: Press the 'Cruise' button for automatic straight-line driving at a constant speed.

  • Automatic Return Function: The boat features several return modes for safe navigation: One-click return to origin, low battery automatic return, lost contact automatic return, and over-distance automatic return.

6.4 Bait Release

The boat is equipped with an independent large hopper capable of holding up to 1.5KG of bait. To release bait, navigate the boat to the desired location and press the 'Baiting' button on the remote control.

6.5 Water Temperature Detection

The boat features a built-in water temperature sensor that provides real-time feedback on the remote control's screen. This helps in identifying optimal fishing layers.

6.6 Night Navigation Lights

The boat is equipped with high-brightness headlights at the bow and steering signal lights at the stern. Use the 'Light Button' on the remote control to switch between two lighting modes: constant on or flashing, for improved visibility during night operations.

6.7 Fish Finder Operation (Optional)

If your model includes a Fish Finder, deploy the wireless sonar sensor into the water. The Fish Finder unit will display real-time depth and fish location data. It has a detection depth range of 0.6-40 meters and a wireless operating range of 100 meters.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Boat

  • After each use, rinse the boat with fresh water to remove any salt, dirt, or debris.
  • Wipe the boat dry with a soft cloth.
  • Ensure no water enters the battery compartment or other electronic components.

7.2 Battery Care and Storage

  • Always fully charge batteries before storage.
  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • If storing for extended periods, charge the batteries every 3 months to maintain their health.
  • Do not overcharge or over-discharge batteries.

7.3 Propeller Inspection

  • Regularly check propellers for any damage, entanglement (e.g., fishing lines, weeds), or wear.
  • Replace damaged propellers with the provided spares to ensure optimal performance.

7.4 Waterproofing

The V805 bait boat features multi-layer sealed waterproof technology. Ensure all covers and seals are properly closed before placing the boat in water to maintain its waterproof integrity.

8. Troubleshooting
