5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Preparation

  • Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly.
  • The 3-inch wide mouth feed chute allows for larger pieces, reducing preparation time. For very large items, cut them into smaller pieces that fit comfortably into the chute.
  • Remove any hard pits or large seeds from fruits (e.g., peaches, plums).
  • Peel citrus fruits, pineapples, and other fruits with thick or inedible skins.

5.2 Juicing Process

  1. Plug the juicer into a suitable 220V-240V power outlet.
  2. Select the appropriate speed setting using the control dial:
    • **Level I (Low Speed)**: Ideal for soft fruits and vegetables such as oranges, tomatoes, grapes, strawberries, kiwi, and cucumbers.
    • **Level II (High Speed)**: Suited for firm fruits and vegetables like apples, carrots, melons, bitter gourd, ginger, and asparagus.
  3. Turn the control dial to the desired speed (1 or 2).
  4. Gradually feed the prepared fruits and vegetables into the feed chute.
  5. Use the food pusher to gently guide the produce down the chute. Do not force it, as this can strain the motor or reduce juice yield.
  6. The fresh juice will flow into the juice jug, and the pulp will collect in the pulp container. The built-in foam separator in the juice jug will help ensure smooth juice.
  7. Once juicing is complete, turn the control dial to '0' (off) and unplug the appliance.

5.3 Pulse Control (P)

The 'P' setting on the control dial provides a momentary burst of power. This is useful for:

  • Clearing any fruit pulp stuck in the filter during operation.
  • Quickly processing very hard ingredients in short bursts.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your juicer. All removable parts are dishwasher safe.

  1. **Disassembly**: After use, turn the control dial to '0' and unplug the juicer. Release the locking bar and carefully remove the juicer cover, filter, pulp container, and juice jug.
  2. **Rinsing**: Rinse all removable parts under running water immediately after use to prevent pulp from drying and sticking.
  3. **Cleaning the Filter**: The stainless steel precision micro filter should be cleaned thoroughly with a brush (often included with juicers) to remove all pulp residue. This is crucial for maintaining juicing efficiency.
  4. **Washing**: Wash the removable parts with warm, soapy water or place them in the dishwasher.
  5. **Motor Base**: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water.
  6. **Drying and Storage**: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the juicer. Store in a cool, dry place.

  • For best results, use fresh, ripe fruits and vegetables.
  • Juice leafy greens by rolling them into a tight ball before feeding them into the chute.
  • To maximize juice extraction from softer fruits, alternate them with harder vegetables.
  • Always clean the juicer immediately after use to prevent pulp from drying and making cleaning more difficult.
