5. Troubleshooting

  • No display after power on: Confirm your device is properly connected to the TV and that your TV is set to the correct HDMI input.
  • TV has images but no sound: Ensure your TV is not muted and the volume is not set too low. Check audio settings on the TV Box.
  • Failure to connect to the network:
    • For wired connection: Make sure the Ethernet cable is properly connected.
    • For Wi-Fi connection: Ensure Wi-Fi is functional on the TV Box and your router, and that the TV Box has a strong enough signal.
  • Remote control failure:
    • Replace the remote control batteries with new ones, ensuring correct polarity.
    • Make sure the remote control is within effective range of the TV Box.
    • Go to the Setting menu to unpair and re-pair the remote control.
  • Slow Wi-Fi speed: Check if your router is Wi-Fi 6 compatible with Wi-Fi 5 AC mode. Some Wi-Fi 6 routers operating in 'ax' mode on 5GHz may not support compatible Wi-Fi 5 AC mode, potentially leading to slower speeds.
  • Remote cannot navigate on some apps: This is common for apps designed for touchscreens. Use the remote's mouse mode (click the 'Mouse' button) or connect an external USB mouse or wireless keyboard for better navigation.
  • TV Box frequently restarts: This may indicate incompatible apps or corrupted data. It is recommended to perform a 'factory data recovery' in the settings menu.
