1. Introduction

The ONENUO TH01 Tuya WiFi Temperature Humidity Sensor is a smart device designed to monitor the ambient temperature and humidity in your environment. With Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, it allows for remote monitoring and control via the Tuya Smart or Smart Life mobile application. It features an LCD display for real-time readings and supports voice control through popular smart assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your sensor.

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the sensor.
  2. Insert 3x AAA 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover.

3.2 App Download and Installation

Download the 'Tuya Smart' or 'Smart Life' app from your smartphone's app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS).

3.3 Device Pairing (Wi-Fi + Bluetooth Dual Mode)

The sensor utilizes a Wi-Fi + Bluetooth dual-mode for faster and more stable network connection. Bluetooth is used for initial network signal connection and cannot be used alone.

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
  2. Open the 'Tuya Smart' or 'Smart Life' app and log in or register.
  3. On the sensor, press and hold the button for 5 seconds. The Wi-Fi icon on the sensor's display will indicate it's in pairing mode.
  4. In the app, click 'Add Device' (usually a '+' icon in the top right corner). The app will start discovering nearby devices.
  5. Once the 'WiFi Temperature & Humidity Sensor' is discovered, tap 'Add'.
  6. Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
  7. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. The device will be added successfully.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 LCD Display Information

The sensor's LCD display shows the current date, time, temperature, humidity, battery level, and Wi-Fi connection status.

4.2 Remote Monitoring via App

Once paired, you can remotely monitor the temperature and humidity from anywhere at any time using the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app. The app also provides a temperature and humidity curve to visualize recent data changes.

4.3 Temperature Unit Selection

You can switch the temperature unit between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉) through the app settings. To ensure the change is reflected quickly, you can temporarily set the temperature report cycle to 1 minute, then change it back to your desired frequency after the unit has updated.

4.4 Smart Linkage Function

The sensor can be linked with other smart devices (e.g., air conditioners, humidifiers) in your home to create automated scenarios. For example:

  • If the room temperature surpasses 35℃, the air conditioner can be set to turn on automatically.
  • If the humidity is lower than 20% RH, a humidifier can be set to spray automatically.

Note: Intelligent Linkage function requires a compatible universal infrared remote control or Wi-Fi switch.

4.5 Voice Control

The sensor supports voice commands through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. You can ask for current temperature and humidity readings by saying commands like:
