2. Product Overview
The BSEED E Click Series offers a modular smart home system, allowing you to combine various function parts (switches, sockets) with plastic frames to create custom configurations. The panels and modules of the E series are designed to match only each other and should not be mixed with other series.
3. Installation
3.1 General Installation Steps
- Open the packaging and take out all parts.
- Separate the glass panel and metal plate from the groove using a screwdriver.
- Perform wiring according to the provided wiring instructions.
- Screw the product into the wall box. Use the text on the back of the product to determine the correct installation direction.
- Push the glass panel onto the device to complete the installation. Ensure the notch of the glass panel is facing downwards.
3.2 Wiring Instructions
Important: A neutral wire (N) must be connected for all smart devices. The clips on the back of the glass panel must align with the clips on the function key plate for proper assembly.
- L-Terminal: Connect to the Live wire.
- N-Terminal: Connect to the Neutral wire.
- E-Terminal: Connect to the Ground wire.
- L1, L2, L3, L4 Terminals (for switches): Connect to the light wires.
3.3 App Download and Smart Device Connection
To utilize the smart features, download the 'SMART LIFE' or 'TUYA' app from your device's app store or by scanning the QR code provided in the original manual. Register an account and log in.
3.3.1 WiFi Smart Device Connection Steps
Note: Only 2.4GHz WiFi standard is supported; 5.0GHz is not supported.
- Connect your smartphone to the 2.4GHz WiFi network and turn on Bluetooth.
- After powering on the switch, the LED indicator should blink rapidly. If it does not blink, press and hold the switch or button until it starts blinking.
- Open the Smart Life/Tuya app and tap the '+' icon in the top right corner to select 'Add device'.
- If the product doesn't automatically prompt to add, select the corresponding product type (e.g., 'Socket' or 'Switch') from the list to pair.
- Input your WiFi password to initiate the adding process.
- Wait for the adding process to complete. Successful pairing will be confirmed in the app.
3.3.2 ZigBee Smart Device Connection Steps
Note: Ensure you have a functional Tuya ZigBee Gateway set up before connecting ZigBee devices.
- Power on your ZigBee Gateway and ensure it is connected to your Smart Life/Tuya app.
- Open the ZigBee gateway page within the Smart Life/Tuya app and click 'Add Devices'.
- Press and hold the switch or socket button for approximately 5 seconds until the control light begins to blink.
- The app will search for devices. Once the corresponding device is found, click 'Done' to complete the pairing.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Operation
The E Click Series devices feature a push-button switch type for manual control. Press the button to toggle the connected lights or appliances on/off.
4.2 Smart Control via App
Once connected to the Smart Life/Tuya app, you can remotely control your switches and sockets, set schedules, timers, and create smart scenes for automation.
4.3 Voice Control
Integrate your Smart Life account with Amazon Alexa or Google Home to enable voice control for your WiFi devices. For example, you can say: "Alexa, turn on the living room light."
4.4 Smart Dimmer Switch Specifics
The Smart Dimmer Switch only supports dimmable LED lights and incandescent lights. If used with other types of lamps, flickering may occur.
5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your BSEED E Click Series devices, follow these general maintenance guidelines:
- Regularly clean the glass panels with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the surface.
- Ensure all wiring connections remain secure. If you notice any loose connections or unusual behavior, consult a professional electrician.
- Keep the devices free from dust and debris, especially around the buttons and ventilation areas.
6. Troubleshooting
- Device not blinking during pairing: If the LED indicator does not blink rapidly after powering on, press and hold the switch or button for approximately 5 seconds until it starts blinking.
- Lamps flickering with dimmer switch: Ensure that the connected lamps are dimmable LED or incandescent types. Other lamp types may not be compatible and can cause flickering.
- Unable to connect to WiFi: Verify that your WiFi network is 2.4GHz. The devices do not support 5.0GHz WiFi. Check your WiFi password and ensure your smartphone is connected to the correct network.
- ZigBee device not found: Confirm that your Tuya ZigBee Gateway is powered on, properly connected to the app, and within range of the ZigBee device.
- Device unresponsive: Check the power supply to the device. If the issue persists, try resetting the device (refer to the app for specific reset procedures if available) and re-pairing it.

- Remember that E Click series panels and modules are designed for compatibility only within the E Click series. Avoid mixing them with components from other product series to ensure proper fit and function.
