4.2 General Installation Steps

  1. Disconnect Battery: Before starting, disconnect the negative terminal of your vehicle's battery.
  2. Remove Old Unit: Carefully remove the existing car stereo unit and any trim panels.
  3. Connect Wiring: Refer to the wiring diagram (Figure 4.1) and connect the Power Cable, RCA Cable, USB Cables, GPS Antenna, Radio Antenna, and Canbus to the corresponding ports on the new unit and your vehicle's harness.
  4. Connect Optional Accessories: If using, connect the Rear Camera Input Cable and any other external devices (e.g., external microphone, DAB+ module, OBD2 dongle).

5.5 Bluetooth (BT)

  • Rear Camera: Connect an AHD/CVBS rear camera to the video input port. The display automatically switches to the reverse image when the car is in reverse gear, aiding in safer parking.
  • Driving Recorder (USB Recorder): Connect a USB driving recorder to record your driving journey.
  • External Microphone: Connect an external microphone for improved voice quality during calls.
  • DAB+ Module: An optional DAB+ dongle allows you to enjoy Audiophile Sound and stronger signals from digital audio broadcasting channels.
