2. Safety Information

5. Setup

5.1. Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camera.
  2. Insert the 1350mAh Li-ion battery, ensuring the correct orientation.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  4. Charge the battery fully before first use using the provided USB cable and charger.

5.2. MicroSD Card Installation

  1. Locate the MicroSD card slot on the side of the camera.
  2. Insert a compatible MicroSD card (up to 256GB, Class 10 or higher recommended) with the contacts facing down.
  3. Push the card gently until it clicks into place. To remove, push again until it springs out.

5.3. Using the Waterproof Case

The waterproof case allows the camera to be used up to 30 meters (131 feet) underwater.

  1. Ensure the camera is dry before placing it inside the waterproof case.
  2. Close the case firmly, making sure the rubber seal is clean and free of debris.
  3. Before first use underwater, test the empty waterproof case for leaks by submerging it for a few minutes.

5.4. Attaching Auxiliary Lenses (Optional)

The camera's lens is detachable, allowing for the use of optional auxiliary lenses (e.g., ND, CPL, Macro, Purple filters) to enhance your footage.

  1. Gently twist and remove the standard lens cover from the camera.
  2. Align the desired auxiliary lens with the camera's lens mount.
  3. Twist clockwise until the auxiliary lens is securely attached.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power/Mode button for 3 seconds.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power/Mode button for 3 seconds.

6.2. Switching Modes

  • Short press the Power/Mode button to cycle through different modes (Video, Photo, Playback, Settings).
  • Use the touch screen or Up/Down buttons to navigate menus within each mode.

6.3. Video Recording

  1. Select Video mode.
  2. Press the Shutter/OK button to start recording. A red indicator light will flash.
  3. Press the Shutter/OK button again to stop recording. The indicator light will stop flashing.

6.4. Photo Capture

  1. Select Photo mode.
  2. Press the Shutter/OK button to take a photo.

6.5. Wi-Fi Connection

Connect your camera to a smartphone via Wi-Fi for remote control and file transfer.

  1. On the camera, navigate to Settings and enable Wi-Fi. The camera screen will display the SSID (e.g., "sport-cameras_81B5F9") and Password (e.g., "1234567890").

6.6. Remote Control Operation

The included remote control allows for convenient photo and video capture from a distance.

  • Ensure the remote control is paired with the camera (usually automatic upon first power-on).
  • Press the red button on the remote to start/stop video recording.
  • Press the grey button on the remote to take a photo.

6.7. Dive Mode
