1. Safety Information

Before operating your TODIMART S3 Electric Scooter, please read this manual carefully and understand all safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow the instructions and safety warnings may result in serious injury or death.

  • Always wear appropriate protective equipment, including a helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads, when riding.
  • Ensure you comply with all local laws and regulations regarding electric scooter usage.
  • Be aware of your surroundings and ride defensively. Avoid riding in heavy traffic, at night, or in poor weather conditions.
  • Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 120 kg (265 lbs).
  • Keep fingers and other body parts away from moving parts, such as wheels and folding mechanisms.
  • Fire Risk Warning: Please strictly follow the instruction manual for charging and storage to prevent potential fire risks.

3. Setup

3.1 Unfolding the Scooter

  1. Place the scooter on a flat surface.
  2. Release the folding mechanism latch, usually located near the base of the handlebar stem.
  3. Carefully lift the handlebar stem until it locks into the upright position. Ensure the latch is securely engaged.
  4. Adjust the handlebar height if applicable and tighten any quick-release clamps.

3.2 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the scooter's battery. Connect the charger to the charging port on the scooter and then to a power outlet. The charging indicator on the charger will typically change color (e.g., red to green) when fully charged. Charging time is approximately 4-6 hours.

3.3 Connecting to the App (Bluetooth Control)

  1. Download the official TODIMART app from your smartphone's app store.
  2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
  3. Power on the scooter.
  4. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with your S3 scooter.
  5. The app allows for remote locking, real-time diagnostics, and speed mode selection.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the power button on the handlebar to turn the scooter on or off. The LED display will illuminate when the scooter is on.

4.2 Selecting Speed Modes

The S3 scooter offers 3 speed modes:

  • E (Eco) Mode: Approximately 10 km/h (6 mph) - Ideal for beginners or conserving battery.
  • D (Drive) Mode: Approximately 20 km/h (12 mph) - Standard riding mode.
  • S (Sport) Mode: Approximately 25 km/h (15.5 mph) - For maximum speed and performance.

Switch between modes using the dedicated button on the handlebar or via the companion app.

4.3 Riding the Scooter

  1. Place one foot firmly on the footboard and push off with the other foot to gain initial momentum.
  2. Once moving, gently press the accelerator lever to engage the motor.
  3. Place your other foot on the footboard. Maintain a balanced and comfortable riding posture.
  4. To slow down or stop, release the accelerator and gently squeeze the brake levers.

4.4 Braking System

The scooter is equipped with both front and rear brakes for effective stopping power. Use both brakes simultaneously for optimal control and shorter stopping distances.

4.5 Folding for Transport

To fold the scooter, ensure it is powered off. Release the handlebar stem latch and carefully fold the stem down until it clicks into place. This compact design makes it easy to carry and store.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Care and Charging

  • Always use the original charger provided with your scooter.
  • Do not overcharge the battery; disconnect the charger once charging is complete.
  • Avoid completely draining the battery. Charge it regularly, even if not in frequent use.
  • Store the scooter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

5.2 Tire Maintenance

Regularly check tire pressure and for any signs of wear or damage. Proper tire inflation ensures optimal performance and safety.

5.3 Cleaning and Storage

  • Clean the scooter with a damp cloth. Do not use high-pressure water jets or corrosive cleaning agents.
  • Ensure the scooter is dry before storing or charging.
  • When storing for extended periods, ensure the battery is charged to about 50-70% and recharge it every 1-2 months to maintain battery health.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Scooter not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Check all connections for looseness.
