4.1. APP Installation

1. Scan the QR code below or search for "UBoxPro" from the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android smartphones) to download and install the app.
2. Allow all permissions to avoid missing any notifications from the app.

4.2. APP Registration

1. Open the app, input your E-mail address, then press 'Register'.
2. Check and select to agree to the agreement. Your E-mail box will receive a verification code.
3. Set the login password and confirm it. The password must be 8-32 characters, including a combination of letters. Then press 'Register'.
4. Input necessary information like Country, Province, then press 'Done'.
5. You will receive a validation email. Click the link in the email to complete validation.
6. Enter your E-mail address and password, then click 'Login'. The app will auto-fill account information.

4.3. Device Connection

1. Insert the SIM card into the device (if using 4G model).
2. Put the battery into the device.
3. Install the antenna (some models may require this).
4. After powering on the device, wait for about 1 minute until the blue LED light turns on. Then press 'Next' in the app.
5. Press 'Add a device' in the app.
6. Find the UID QR code on the device, then use the app to scan the QR code.
7. The app will search for the device on the internet, which may take 5-60 seconds.
8. Select the name and device location, then press 'Done'.
9. The device will automatically appear in your device list.

5.1. Using the UboxPro App

• Device List: Enter to select your family or smart device location.
• Cloud Service: Check and purchase cloud storage.

5.3. PIR Human Detection & Human Tracking

The camera features AI humanoid detection and auto-tracking. When a human moves in front of the camera, it will pan or tilt to follow the movement, ensuring no important moments are missed. Active timing detection allows for wake-up detection at a distance of up to 30 meters.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Battery Life Considerations

The device is equipped with a rechargeable lithium battery. Battery life is affected by the device wake-up time and the number of wake-ups. If the PIR sensor alarm detection function is used in a high-traffic area, it is recommended to turn off or set the device to low sensitivity to reduce wake-ups and calls, thereby extending battery life. When the battery is low, please charge it immediately.

6.2. Wi-Fi Range

Keep the device within range of your router. If there are thick or insulated objects between the device and the Wi-Fi router, which may lead to a weak Wi-Fi signal, ensure the Wi-Fi signal is strong before using the device.

The camera has an IP66 waterproof rating, making it suitable for outdoor use in various weather conditions including rain, dust, snow, and hot days.

  1. Confirm that the SIM card is correctly inserted.
  2. Check if the SIM card is valid and has sufficient data traffic.
  3. Verify if the current location has a normal 4G signal.
  4. Ensure the device antenna is properly installed.
• Android phone not receiving notifications:

  Android systems may block app notifications. You need to open the app's self-starting function in your phone settings to receive push messages.

8. User Tips

• PIR Detection Sensitivity: You can change the PIR detection sensitivity in device settings. It is recommended to set sensitivity at "Disabled" or "Low" to reduce false alerts and save battery power in noisy environments.
  • Disabled: PIR detection is off.
  • Low: 7-second delay before PIR detects a moving object.
  • Medium: 5-second delay before PIR detects a moving object.
  • High: 1-second delay before PIR detects a moving object.
• TF/SD Card Compatibility: The camera only supports TF cards up to 256GB provided by LS VISION. Using other TF/SD cards, especially larger capacities like 512GB, may not be supported or function correctly.
• Continuous Recording: This is a delicate device with a low power consumption design. Each time the device is awakened, it will work for a few seconds. After that, it will enter standby mode to save power. You can set the work time in the app settings.
