1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the BioloMix Electric Milk Frother & Steamer. This versatile appliance is designed to help you create a variety of delicious milk-based beverages, from rich hot foam for lattes and cappuccinos to cold foam for iced drinks, and even hot chocolate. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure safe and optimal operation.

2. Important Safety Information

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

• Read all instructions before using the appliance.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the power base, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids. The detachable milk jug is designed to be washable, but the electrical base must remain dry.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

4. Product Overview

The BioloMix Milk Frother consists of a power base and a detachable stainless steel milk jug with a lid and whisk. The control interface varies slightly between models BMF201 (knob type) and BMF202 (digital type).

6. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the detachable milk jug and whisk with warm soapy water, then rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the power base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the power base in water.
3. Placement: Place the frother on a stable, level, and dry surface, away from heat sources and water.
4. Whisk Placement: Ensure the frothing whisk is securely placed on the spindle inside the milk jug.

7. Operating Instructions

The BioloMix Milk Frother offers multiple functions for various milk preparations. Always ensure the whisk is correctly installed and the milk jug is placed securely on the power base before operation.

7.1. General Operation Steps

1. Pour the desired amount of milk into the detachable jug. Observe the MIN and MAX fill lines for frothing (350ml/11.8oz) and heating (800ml/27oz) to prevent overflow or insufficient operation.
2. Place the lid securely on the milk jug.
3. Place the milk jug onto the power base.
4. Select your desired function (refer to specific model instructions below).
5. Press the start button (or knob for BMF201) to begin. The frother will automatically stop when the process is complete.

7.2. BMF201 (Knob Type) Functions

The BMF201 model features a knob for selecting 7 different functions:

• Cold Thin Foam: For light, cold frothed milk.
• Cold Thick Foam: For dense, cold frothed milk.
• Warm Thin Foam: For light, warm frothed milk.
• Warm Thick Foam: For dense, warm frothed milk.
• Hot Chocolate Milk: Heats and mixes milk with chocolate powder.
• Low Temp Heating (45°C): Heats milk to a gentle 45°C.
• Medium Temp Heating (65°C): Heats milk to 65°C.

To operate, rotate the knob to the desired function. The corresponding LED light will illuminate. Press the center button to start. The frother will automatically stop when finished.

7.3. BMF202 (Digital Type) Functions

The BMF202 model features a touchscreen digital control panel for selecting 6 different functions:

• Dense Hot Foam: For rich, hot frothed milk.
• Light Hot Foam: For lighter, hot frothed milk.
• Dense Cold Foam: For rich, cold frothed milk.
• Light Cold Foam: For lighter, cold frothed milk.
• Heating Milk: Heats milk without frothing.
• Hot Chocolate Milk: Heats and mixes milk with chocolate powder.

To operate, touch the icon for the desired function. The selected function's indicator will light up, and the frother will start automatically after a short delay if no further operation is detected. The frother will automatically stop when finished.

7.4. Tips for Best Results

• For the richest and creamiest foam, it is recommended to use whole milk with a fat content greater than 3%.
• Always use fresh, cold milk for frothing.
• Ensure the whisk is clean and properly seated for optimal frothing performance.

8. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your BioloMix Milk Frother.

1. Unplug: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Cool Down: Allow the frother to cool completely before disassembling or cleaning.
3. Detachable Jug: The stainless steel milk jug is detachable and can be washed with running water or placed in a dishwasher for easy cleaning. Ensure all milk residue is removed.
4. Whisk: Remove the frothing whisk and clean it thoroughly under running water.
5. Power Base: Wipe the exterior of the power base with a soft, damp cloth. Do NOT immerse the power base in water or any other liquid. Ensure the power base remains dry.
6. Drying: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the appliance.

9. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your BioloMix Milk Frother, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Frother not starting:
  - Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet.
  - Check that the detachable milk jug is correctly placed on the power base.
  - For BMF201, ensure the knob is set to a function and the start button is pressed.
  - For BMF202, ensure a function is selected on the touch panel.
• Poor foam quality or no foam:
  - Use fresh, cold whole milk (preferably with >3% fat content). Skim or low-fat milk may produce less foam.
  - Ensure the milk level is between the MIN and MAX frothing lines.
  - Check that the frothing whisk is properly installed and clean.
• Milk not heating:
  - Ensure the correct heating function (e.g., Hot Chocolate Milk, Low Temp Heating, Medium Temp Heating) is selected.
  - Check that the milk level is within the MIN and MAX heating lines.
• Appliance stops unexpectedly:
  - The frother has built-in overheating protection and auto-shutoff features. If it stops, it may be due to overheating or completion of the cycle. Allow it to cool down before attempting to use it again.
