  • Do not expose the remote control to direct sunlight for extended periods.

4.2 Cleaning

To clean the remote control, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Do not use harsh chemicals or immerse the remote in water.

4.3 Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote control's performance degrades or stops responding. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type (AAA).

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Remote Control Not Responding

  • Check Batteries: Ensure batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity (+/-) and are not depleted. Replace with fresh AAA batteries if necessary.
  • Line of Sight: Make sure there is a clear path between the remote control and the TV's IR receiver. Remove any obstructions.
  • Distance: Ensure you are within the effective operating range of the remote control (typically up to 20 feet).
  • TV IR Receiver: Verify that the TV's IR receiver is not blocked or dirty.

5.2 Specific Buttons Not Working

  • Clean Buttons: Dirt or debris might be lodged under the buttons. Try gently pressing and releasing the button multiple times. If persistent, a light cleaning around the button may help.
  • Battery Check: Low batteries can sometimes cause intermittent button functionality. Replace batteries.

  • This remote is specifically designed for SKYWORTH RHA-T2 TC9012 TV models. If you are experiencing compatibility issues, double-check your TV's model number, usually found on a label at the back of the TV.
