2. Component Identification
Familiarize yourself with the main components of your X9 intercom unit:

- On/off keys: Used for powering the device on/off and other functions.

- Charging interface: Type-C USB port for charging.

4. Product Installation
You can install the intercom unit using either the clip method or the magic sticker method.
Method 1: Using the Clip to Install the Host
- Loosen the Screw: Use the included screwdriver to loosen the screw of the back clip.
- Open the Clip: Open the clip to an appropriate extent to easily insert the lower edge of the helmet.
- Insert Clip into Helmet: Open the helmet lining. Insert the clip into the appropriate position on the left side of the helmet.
- Tighten the Screw: Tighten the screw. Be careful not to overtighten, as this may damage the clip or helmet.
- Slide Intercom Unit: Slide the Bluetooth walkie-talkie into the headphone clip slot until it is firmly locked.
- Install Speakers: Open the helmet lining (ear position), clean the EPS surface of the helmet, and paste a speaker magic sticker on the left and right sides. Ensure speakers are installed close to the ear for optimal volume and sound effect.
- Fix Microphone and Cables: Paste the speaker onto the fixed magic sticker surface (the speaker has its own magic sticker hook surface, and the short-line speaker should be installed close to the host side). Fix the microphone and properly organize the helmet lining and headphone cable.
- Connect Headphone Plug: Plug the headphone plug into the headphone jack of the walkie-talkie, tie up the headphone cable, and complete the installation.
Method 2: Using Magic Stickers to Install the Host
- Prepare Magic Stickers: Separate the hook and wool sides of the magic sticker. First, paste the hook face onto the magic sticker clip.
- Attach Clip to Host: Insert the magic sticker clip into the host.
- Position on Helmet: Hold the host in hand and choose the appropriate installation position on the helmet (ensure the machine is facing correctly). After selecting the position, paste the wool surface of the magic sticker to that position.
- Remove Magic Sticker Clip: Take off the magic sticker clip from the host (with the magic sticker hook surface).
- Attach to Helmet: Paste it with the hook on the right magic sticker face, ensuring it is firm.
- Slide Intercom Unit: Slide the walkie-talkie host into the slot of the Velcro clip, jam it, and lock it.
- Install Speakers: Open the helmet lining (ear position), clean the EPS surface of the helmet, and paste a horn magic sticker on the left and right sides (install near the ear for best volume).
- Fix Microphone and Cables: Paste the speaker onto the fixed magic sticker surface (the speaker comes with a magic sticker hook surface, and the short-line speaker should be installed near the host side). Fix the microphone and properly organize the helmet lining and headphone cable.
- Connect Headphone Plug: Plug the headphone plug into the headphone jack of the walkie-talkie, tie up the headphone cable, and complete the installation.
5. Key Functions and Operation
Power On/Off (Please charge before use)
- Start Up: Long press the [On/off key] for approximately 2 seconds until the red and blue lights flash twice. The device will report the mode and current battery level.
- Shut Down: Long press the [On/off button] for approximately 4 seconds. The red light will turn on, indicating shutdown is complete.
Work Priority Level
The device prioritizes functions in the following order:
Phone > Intercom > Music > Music Sharing > FM
For pairing status, pair the intercom first, then the mobile phone.
Select Language Prompt Tone
Simultaneously press the [On/off key] + rotate the knob to switch between language prompts. Each operation cycles to the next word.
Automatic Callback
After booting, the paired mobile phone will automatically reconnect if Bluetooth is enabled.
Mobile Phone Callback
If the headphones and mobile phone are disconnected, click the [On/off key] to reconnect to the paired mobile phone.
Battery Low Power Warnings
- When the voltage is less than 15%, the device will prompt "Low power" every 5 minutes.
- When the voltage is less than 5%, the device will automatically shut down after 10 seconds.
Restore Factory Settings/Clear
In the boot state, long press the [On/off button] for 7 seconds (after 3 seconds of shutdown, do not let go and continue to press for another 4 seconds). You will hear "shutdown" followed by "dudu".
Mode Switching
After booting, click [On/off key] + [Multi-function key] to switch between three modes:
- Bluetooth group intercom mode (Mesh mode)
- Bluetooth dating mode
- Music sharing
Description: Mesh supports two-person and multi-person intercom.
Mobile Phone Pairing
- From Off State: When the machine is turned off, press the [On/off button] for 5 seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The effective pairing time is 150 seconds; it will automatically shut down after 30 minutes without any connection. You will hear "Bluetooth Pairing".
- From On State (Secondary Pairing): When booting, long press [Multi-function key] and [On/off key] for 3 seconds to enter secondary Bluetooth pairing mode. This is not allowed during intercom. You need to hang up the intercom before entering mobile phone pairing. The red and blue lights will flash, and you will hear "Bluetooth Pairing".
Music Control
- Play/Pause: In Bluetooth connection mode, click the [On/off button] to play/pause music.
- Regress: Rotate the knob counterclockwise to return to the last music.
- Move Forward: Rotate the knob clockwise to choose the next music.
- Increase Volume: Rotate the knob counterclockwise to increase the volume.
- Reduce Volume: Rotate the knob clockwise to reduce the volume.
6. Telephone Function
Answer the Call
When there is an incoming call, click the [On/off button] to answer the phone.
Automatic Answer
If there is no operation after the call rings for 10 seconds, the headphones will automatically answer the call.
End the Call
During a mobile phone call, click the [On/off button] to end the call.
Refuse to Answer
Press the [On/off button] for 2 seconds when you first hear the ringtone to refuse to answer the call.
Last Code Redial
In standby state, quickly double-click the [On/off button] to automatically dial the last number.
Voice Awakening
When on standby, press and hold the [Multi-function key] for 2 seconds to wake up the voice assistant.
Volume Addition and Subtraction
Rotate the knob clockwise to reduce the volume; rotate the knob counterclockwise to increase the volume.
Maximum Volume
The highest volume has an alarm sound prompt (a tick warning TONE sound).
Automatic Answer On/Off
- To turn on: When the device is not connected to the mobile phone's Bluetooth, long press [On/off button] for 2 seconds. The blue light flashes 3 times. You will hear "Du TONE sound".
- To turn off: When the device is not connected to the mobile phone's Bluetooth, long press [On/off button] for 2 seconds. The red light flashes. You will hear "Du TONE sound".
7. Mesh Intercom (Including more than 2 people)
The X9 supports a mesh network for up to 10 riders, allowing flexible entry and exit without affecting the network.

One-Click Networking for Multiple Devices
- Switch to Group Intercom Mode: When all 10 machines are turned on, simultaneously click [On/off key] + [Multi-function key] to switch to "Bluetooth group intercom mode".
- Enter Search State: Long press one of the [Multi-function keys] to enter the blue light flash search state. Then click the [Multi-function key] to hear the prompt tone of the No. 1 machine ("Ti").
- Join Network: All other 9 machines click the [Multi-function key] to wait for the automatic mesh network. All blue lights will flash slowly.
Restriction: For optimal distance, No. 1 must be the leading intercom. As long as the No. 1 machine remains on, other devices can enter and exit the intercom without time limits. If No. 1 turns off, redefine No. 1.
The system supports 10 people to network and will not affect remaining network equipment as you go in and out. It is best for 4 to 6 people intercom.

Pairing with Other Brands of Bluetooth Headphones
- Enter Pairing State (Other Device): The other party's Bluetooth device enters its pairing state.
- Switch to Dating Mode (X9): With your X9 device in boot state, click [On/off key] + [Multi-function key] to switch to "Bluetooth dating mode".
- Enter Pairing Mode (X9): Long press [Multi-function key] in Bluetooth dating mode to enter pairing mode. The third-party device also needs to enter pairing intercom mode. The blue light will flash.
- Pair Intercoms: Click [Multi-function key] to pair the intercom. If successful, you can directly enter voice intercom. You will hear "The intercom is connected".
Manually Disconnect Intercom
During intercom, double-click the [Multi-functional button] to exit the MESH network. You will hear "Doodle two tones".
Manually Callback Intercom
During intercom, click [Multi-functional button] to connect to the MESH network.
Automatic Reconnection
During intercom, if you exit the network due to obstacles or interference, the device will automatically rejoin the network once the signal recovers. You will hear "Drip a TONE".
Automatically Disconnected
When the mobile phone calls or exceeds the intercom distance, the intercom will automatically disconnect. You will hear "Talkie Disconnected".
Automatic Callback
At the end of a call or when the intercom distance is restored, there will be a chime when pulling the distance back. You will hear "Talkie connected".
Shutdown Memory
Two devices that have been paired to the intercom will be turned off and then turned back on into the intercom.
8. Music Sharing
The X9 supports music sharing between two riders. One mobile phone can play music, and two X9 units can hear the same music.

- Switch to Music Sharing Mode: Click the [On/off button] + [Multi-function button] of two devices in boot state to switch to "music sharing".
- Enter Pairing Mode: Long press the [Multi-function button] of two devices in "Music Sharing" mode to enter pairing mode. The blue light will flash.
- Search and Pair: Click one of the devices (sharer) [Multi-function button] for intercom search and pairing. After successful pairing, you can share music. You will hear "Ti".
Shutdown Memory - MESH
After multi-person intercom, if someone turns off their device and turns it on again, you need to click the [Multi-function button] to hear a "tick" sound, indicating successful networking.
Disconnect the Intercom
Double-click the [Multi-function button] to exit the intercom. If disconnection is caused by environmental factors or a device disconnects, the broadcast prompt indicates that a device has exited. You will hear "Two TONE sounds".
9. FM Radio
The X9 features a built-in FM radio for entertainment on the go.

- Turn On FM: Double-click the [Multi-functional key] to automatically search for FM stations (Asian frequency 76-108MHz). You will hear "Turn on the radio".
- Turn Off FM: In a state without Bluetooth audio and intercom, double-click the [Multi-functional button] to exit FM mode. You will hear "Doodle TONE".
- Next Radio Station: Rotate the knob clockwise to select the next radio station. You will hear "Doodle TONE".
- Last Radio Station: Rotate the knob counterclockwise to return to the previous radio station. You will hear "Doodle TONE".
- Volume Increase: Rotate the knob counterclockwise to increase the volume.
- Volume Reduction: Rotate the knob clockwise to reduce the volume.
- Maximum Volume: The maximum volume is indicated by a "Dick warning TONE".
- Music Switching: In FM mode, click the [Start button] to switch to music playback. Click the music pause again, and wait 10 seconds to return to FM.

- No Power: Ensure the device is fully charged. Connect it to a DC 5V-1A charger using the Type-C USB cable.
- Cannot Pair: Ensure both devices are in the correct pairing mode (Bluetooth pairing or Mesh intercom pairing). Try restoring factory settings and re-pairing.
- Intercom Disconnection: If the intercom disconnects frequently, check for obstacles or excessive distance. The system should automatically reconnect when the signal is restored.
- Poor Audio Quality: Ensure speakers are correctly positioned close to your ears. Check microphone placement.
- Buttons Unresponsive: Try restarting the device. If issues persist, perform a factory reset.

- Charging: Always use a DC 5V-1A power charger. Do NOT use fast chargers exceeding 5W, as this can damage the device.
