4. Installation
The device features a top-in bottom-out wiring method, designed to prevent space congestion and facilitate convenient wiring.

- Ensure the main power supply is OFF before starting installation.
- Connect the Live wire (L) to the 'IN L' terminal and the Neutral wire (N) to the 'IN N' terminal at the top of the circuit breaker.
- Connect the load's Live wire to the 'OUT L' terminal and the load's Neutral wire to the 'OUT N' terminal at the bottom of the circuit breaker.
- Securely fasten all wire connections.
- Mount the circuit breaker on a DIN rail.
5. Smart App & WiFi Setup
This device connects to your home WiFi network via the Tuya Smart Life app. Only 2.4GHz WiFi networks are supported.
5.1. Network Distribution Operations (Connecting to WiFi)
- Power On: Power on the device by connecting it to the circuit breaker.
- Network Indicator: After the device is powered on, the network indicator light (the last decimal point of the first row of digital tubes) will flash slowly, indicating it has entered distribution network mode.
- APP Operation:
- Open the Tuya Smart Life app.
- Click on the "+" icon on the homepage and select "Add Device".
- The app will automatically scan for nearby devices.
- Once the device is discovered, click "Add" and enter your WiFi password as prompted.
- Successful Connection: The indicator light will change from slow flashing blue to a constant blue light.
5.2. Unbind Devices and Reset WiFi Network
Method 1: Reset on the APP (when the device is already bound)
- Navigate to the APP device page.
- Click on the edit (pencil) icon in the upper right corner.
- Select "Delete Device" and confirm the action.
Method 2: Device Reset (Universal)
- Ensure the screen is lit up (short press the button to wake up).
- Long press the device's ON/OFF button for 4 seconds.
- Observe the screen to display a scrolling display from top to bottom.
- When the indicator light returns to slow flashing, the reset is successful.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Manual ON/OFF & Remote Control
- Manual Control: Press the physical ON/OFF button on the device to toggle power.
- Remote Control: Use the Tuya Smart Life app to remotely turn the circuit breaker ON or OFF from anywhere.
6.2. Timer Function
The app allows you to set schedules for the circuit breaker to turn ON or OFF at specific times. This is useful for automating lighting, appliances, or other connected devices.
6.3. Overvoltage/Undervoltage/Overcurrent Protection Settings
You can customize protection thresholds and delays via the app:
- Open the Tuya Smart Life app.
- Enter the device control page of the circuit breaker.
- Click on "Settings" in the upper right corner.
- Enter "Alarm Settings".
Customizable Items:
- Overcurrent Alarm: Enable/disable automatic disconnection and set the overcurrent threshold.
- Overvoltage Alarm: Enable/disable automatic disconnection and set the overvoltage threshold.
- Undervoltage Alarm: Enable/disable automatic disconnection and set the undervoltage threshold.
6.4. Auto Recovery
The device is designed to automatically recover and restore power once voltage or current conditions return to safe levels after a protection trip.
6.5. Energy Monitoring (WPS103 only)
The WPS103 model provides real-time energy consumption data (kWh) via the LED display and the Smart Life app. The app records usage data by day, month, and year.
6.6. LED Display Panel
The LED display shows real-time voltage, current, and kWh (for WPS103). It features a true RMS voltage monitoring display for highlight and easy reading.
Screen Shutdown:
The device screen will automatically shut down after 3 minutes of inactivity (no button presses or app control) to save power.
Wake Up Screen:
- Device side: Press the physical button on the circuit breaker.
- APP end: Go to the device control page → click on "Settings" in the upper right corner → enter "Parameter Settings" → find the "Digital Display" switch to turn on/off.

Electricity Display Rules (WPS103 only):
- When cumulative electricity consumption is ≤999kWh, the normal display value is shown (e.g., 888kWh).
- When cumulative electricity consumption exceeds 999 kWh (e.g., 1234kWh):
- The screen will first display values in thousands of digits or higher (e.g., 1 represents 1000kWh).
- Pause for about 1 second.
- Display values in the hundreds and below (e.g., 234 represents 234 kWh).
- Pause for about 2-3 seconds.
- Repeat steps 1-4 in a cyclic polling display.
6.7. Power Failure Memory
The device retains its last state (ON/OFF) and settings after a power outage, ensuring seamless operation upon restoration of power.
7. Maintenance
- Keep the device clean and free from dust and moisture.
- Regularly check wiring connections for tightness and signs of wear.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents on the device.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the device to prevent overheating.
8. Troubleshooting
- Device not connecting to WiFi: Ensure your WiFi network is 2.4GHz. Try resetting the device (long press ON/OFF button for 4 seconds) and re-pairing through the app.
- App shows no data or timeout: Update the app to the latest version, remove the device from the app, re-pair it, and reboot the device.
- Relay status memory function not found in app: Some firmware versions may have removed this feature. Ensure your app and device firmware are up to date. If the issue persists, consult the manufacturer's support.
- Device not turning ON/OFF: Check power connections. If using remote control, ensure the device is connected to WiFi and the app is functioning correctly.
- Protection features not triggering: Verify that the alarm thresholds and delay times are correctly set in the app's "Alarm Settings".
