5. Installation Guide

The Chevolink Smart Switch is designed for easy DIY installation, fitting standard U.S. junction boxes. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Step 1: Power Off. Before starting, ensure the main power supply to the switch location is turned OFF at the circuit breaker.
  2. Step 2: Remove Old Switch. Carefully remove your existing wall switch from the junction box.
  3. Step 3: Open Panel. Use a screwdriver to gently pry open the front glass panel of the new smart switch.
  4. Step 4: Wire Connections. Connect the wires according to the wiring diagram below. Ensure Live (L), Neutral (N), Light (L1), and Fan (L2) wires are correctly matched. A neutral wire is essential for this switch.
  5. Step 5: Mount Switch. Place the switch into the wall cassette (junction box) and secure it with the provided screws.
  6. Step 6: Attach Panel. Snap the front glass panel back onto the switch.
  7. Step 7: Power On. Restore power at the circuit breaker. The indicator light on the switch should illuminate.

6. App Setup and Smart Connectivity

  • Fan Speed Adjustment: Use the up/down arrow buttons to adjust the fan speed.

7.2 App Remote Control
