3. Setup
3.1 Connecting the Printer
- Connect the power adapter to the printer and plug it into a power outlet.
- Turn on the printer using the power switch located at the rear.
- Choose your preferred connection method:

- **LAN Connection**: Connect the printer to your network router using an Ethernet cable.

3.2 Loading Labels
The D550 Pro supports two methods for loading labels: internal roll labels and external fanfold labels.
- **For Roll Labels (Internal)**:
- Open the printer cover.
- Place the label roll onto the internal holders.
- Feed the labels through the printer slot until a small portion extends out.
- Close the printer cover.
- **For Fanfold Labels (External)**:
- Ensure the printer cover is closed.
- Insert the fanfold labels into the rear slot of the printer.
- Gently push until the printer automatically feeds the first label.

3.3 Calibrating Paper Size
For first use or to change paper size, press the paper feed button for 3 seconds under blue light to calibrate the paper. This ensures accurate printing and label detection.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Driver Installation (for USB/LAN)

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Print Head
To maintain print quality, regularly clean the print head. Use a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Gently wipe the print head surface. Ensure the printer is off and disconnected from power before cleaning.
5.2 Cleaning the Platen Roller
The platen roller can accumulate dust or adhesive residue. Clean it with a lint-free cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Rotate the roller manually to clean its entire surface.
5.3 General Care
- Keep the printer in a clean, dust-free environment.
- Avoid exposing the printer to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
