The VENBES Motorcycle Navigation System is designed to enhance your riding experience with features like wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, GPS navigation, and a durable, waterproof touchscreen display.

Setup

1. Package Contents

Before installation, ensure all components are present:

  • Motorcycle Navigation Screen
  • Power Cable (original 12V)
  • Bracket 1
  • Bracket 2
  • Screwdriver
  • (Optional: Front & Rear Dual Camera Recorder if purchased with DVR option)

2. Mounting the Unit

The unit comes with portable brackets for easy installation and removal. Simply loosen the support screws to adjust or remove the unit from its mount.

3. Wiring Instructions

Important: Ensure your motorcycle's power supply is 12V. Use only the original 12V power cord provided. Loose connections can cause the unit to fail to start or reboot repeatedly.

  • Black Wire (-): Connect to the battery negative terminal.
  • Red Wire (+): Connect to the ACC (Accessory) position of the ignition switch.

WARNING: Never connect the red wire directly to the battery positive terminal. This will drain your battery. Professional installation by an auto shop is highly recommended to ensure correct wiring and prevent malfunction.

Note: The power interface on the unit might be closed and needs to be unscrewed with the provided screwdriver before connecting the power cable.

4. TF Card Installation (for DVR option)

If your unit includes the optional DVR feature, you will need to install a TF (MicroSD) card.

  • Use a trusted branded SD card (e.g., Samsung, Kingston, Sandisk) with a C10 speed rating.
  • The maximum supported capacity is 64GB.
  • Always disconnect the power to the unit before inserting or removing the SD card to prevent damage.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

Once correctly wired to the ACC, the unit should power on with your motorcycle's ignition. To power off, simply turn off the ignition.

2. Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto Connection

The system supports wireless CarPlay for iOS phones and Android Auto for Android phones. It connects via Bluetooth pairing and 5GHz Wi-Fi streaming.

  1. Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your smartphone.
  2. On the navigation unit, navigate to the CarPlay or Android Auto connection menu.
  3. Search for available devices on your smartphone and select the VENBES unit.
  4. A pairing code will be displayed on the screen. The default pairing code is usually "0000". Enter this code on your phone to complete pairing. The screen will be locked during this process.
  5. Once paired, the unit will connect to your phone's 5GHz Wi-Fi network for stable operation.

You can now use compatible mobile apps (apps must support CarPlay/Android Auto) for navigation, making/answering calls, and voice control.

3. GPS Navigation

The unit utilizes your phone's GPS for accurate navigation, displayed clearly on the 6.86-inch HD IPS screen. Popular navigation apps compatible with CarPlay/Android Auto can be used.

4. Display Features

The 6.86-inch HD IPS screen with 800 nits peak brightness ensures clear visibility day and night, even in direct sunlight.

5. Bluetooth 5.0 for Music and Calls

Benefit from stable connection, low latency, and fast transmission for your music and hands-free calls via Bluetooth 5.0.

6. Optional DVR (Digital Video Recorder)

If your model includes the dual DVR option, it features front and rear cameras with a 170° wide viewing angle for loop recording. Ensure a compatible TF card is installed for recording.

7. Multi-language Support

The system supports multiple languages including Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.

Maintenance

1. Waterproof Design

The unit boasts an IP67 waterproof rating, allowing you to ride without fear of rain or other weather conditions. However, avoid submerging the device in water for extended periods.

2. Temperature Resistance

The device is built to last in various environments, operating reliably in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +80°C.

3. TF Card Care

To ensure the longevity of your TF card and prevent data corruption, always disconnect the power to the unit before inserting or removing the card.

4. Cleaning

Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the screen and exterior of the unit. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the surface.

Troubleshooting

  • Unit not powering on or repeatedly reboots: Check all power cable connections to ensure they are tight and correctly wired (Black to negative, Red to ACC). Ensure the motorcycle's power supply is 12V.
  • CarPlay/Android Auto not connecting: Verify Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are active on your phone. Check the pairing code (default is "0000"). Ensure the apps you are trying to use support CarPlay/Android Auto.
  • TF card not recognized or recording issues: Ensure you are using a trusted brand (Samsung, Kingston, Sandisk, etc.) C10 speed TF card with a maximum capacity of 64GB. Always disconnect power before inserting/removing the card.
  • Screen visibility issues: The 800 nits brightness should provide clear visibility. If not, check for excessive glare or screen damage.
