5. Initial Setup

  1. Connect to TV: Connect the MX10 Z4 TV Box to your television using the provided HDMI cable.
  2. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the DC/5V port on the TV Box and then into a power outlet.
  3. Connect Input Devices: Connect a mouse, air mouse, or other input devices to the USB port on the TV Box.
  4. Power On: Once the device and cables are connected, the power LED will turn blue, indicating the device is powered on.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off and Sleep

  • Power On: The power LED turns blue when connected.
  • Sleep Mode: While powered on, press the remote control's power button to enter sleep mode.
  • Wake from Sleep: Press the remote control's power button to wake the device from sleep mode.
  • Power Off: Disconnect the power adapter to turn off the device completely.

6.2 Application Management

  • Open Applications: Use the remote control's arrow keys to navigate to the desired program, then press the OK button to open it.
  • Switch Applications: Click 'My Apps' to view recently used programs. Click a program icon to switch to it.
  • Close Applications (Mouse Mode Only): In 'My Apps', click and hold an application icon, then drag it to a blank area to close it.

6.3 Back to Home Screen

Click the home icon on the remote control to return to the home screen.

6.4 Reading External Storage Data

  • Read U Disk: Insert a USB flash drive or removable hard disk into the USB port. An icon will appear in the top-left corner of the desktop. Open 'FileBrowser', and the identified USB(A:) will appear under 'Local Disk'.
  • Read TF Card: Insert a TF card into the device. An icon will appear in the top-left corner. Open 'FileBrowser', and the identified External Storage Card will appear under 'Local Disk'.

7. Network Configuration

7.1 Wi-Fi Function

  1. From the Home Screen, navigate to SETTINGSNetwork.
  2. Select Wi-Fi to open the Wi-Fi function.
  3. Choose your desired hotspot, input the password, and connect to the network.

7.2 Ethernet Function

  1. From the Home Screen, navigate to SETTINGSNetwork.
  2. Select Ethernet to open the Ethernet function.
  3. Insert a network cable into the Ethernet port. The network will be connected automatically.

7.3 WLAN Hotspot (Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot)

To use the TV Box as a wireless access point (requires a wired network connection for the box):
