3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Pre-Installation Check

Before installation, confirm your vehicle's dashboard dimensions match the unit's size (192mm x 120mm, 7-inch display). This unit is specifically designed for Alfa Romeo 159, Brera, Spider, and Sportwagon models. Refer to the compatibility diagram below.

3.2 Wiring Connections

It is highly recommended to have a professional car service store install this device to prevent damage due to incorrect installation.

  1. Power Connector: Connect the main power harness to your vehicle's power supply.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Main Interface and Navigation

The device features an intuitive Android 15 operating system. Upon startup, you will see the main menu with various applications and functions. The interface is designed for ease of use and customization.

4.2 CarPlay and Android Auto

This unit comes with built-in wireless CarPlay (for iOS) and Android Auto (for Android devices), eliminating the need for additional accessories.

Wireless CarPlay (iOS System):

  1. Connect your iPhone via Bluetooth.
  2. Open the "Zlink" application on the head unit and wait for the connection.

  1. Connect your Android phone via Bluetooth.
  2. Open the "Zlink" application on the head unit and wait for the connection.

Note: CarPlay and Android Auto can also be connected via USB cable.

4.3 Bluetooth Function (BT)

The intelligent Bluetooth system supports mobile phone pairing for hands-free calling, phonebook synchronization, call records, and Bluetooth music streaming. This ensures safer driving by allowing you to manage calls and music without distraction.

4.4 GPS Navigation

4.5 FM RDS Radio

4.9 Optional Features (Sold Separately)

  • OBD II Support: With an optional OBD II device, you can monitor real-time car data and retrieve fault codes from the vehicle's computer, displaying information such as fuel volume, speed, and temperature.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and exterior of the unit. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Environmental Conditions: Operate the device within recommended temperature ranges. Avoid extreme heat or cold.

6. Troubleshooting

Common Issue: Rear-view Camera Not Working

Problem: The rear-view camera does not display an image, or there is a manual lack of mounting camera problem.

Solution: Access the factory settings and set the camera type. The default password is 1234. Follow the steps shown in the image below:
