2. Safety Information

  • Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures outside its operating range (-20°C to 55°C) or storage range (-30°C to 70°C).
  • Avoid using unauthorized power adapters or batteries. Use only the provided AC adapter (19V 3.42A) and genuine Cenava batteries.
  • Keep the device away from strong magnetic fields.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. Refer to qualified service personnel.
  • Ensure all port covers are securely closed to maintain IP65 water and dust protection in harsh environments.
  • Clean the device with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.

Indicator Lights (from left to right):

  • Power Indicator: Shows device power status.
  • Mail Indicator: Indicates new email notifications.
  • Battery Indicator: Shows battery charge status.
  • Lock Indicator: Indicates Caps Lock, Num Lock, or Scroll Lock status.
  • Signal Indicator: Shows wireless signal strength.

5. Initial Setup

5.1. Charging the Battery

  1. Open the protective cover for the power supply port on the right side of the device.
  2. Connect the AC power adapter to the power supply port.
  3. Plug the other end of the AC adapter into a wall outlet.
  4. The battery indicator light will show charging status. A full charge typically takes several hours.

5.2. First Power On

  1. Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged or the device is connected to power.
  2. Press the Power Button (refer to Figure 7) to turn on the device.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial Windows 10 setup, including language, region, network connection, and user account creation.

5.3. Installing/Replacing Battery

The Cenava W14u features a dual-battery design with a removable, hot-swappable external battery for extended use and easy replacement.

To replace the external battery:

  1. Locate the battery lock on the bottom of the device (refer to Figure 5).
  2. Slide the battery lock to the unlock position.
  3. Carefully remove the external battery.
  4. Insert a new, charged external battery, ensuring it clicks into place.
  5. Slide the battery lock to the locked position.

6. Operating Your Device

6.1. Basic Navigation

Use the keyboard and touchpad for interacting with the Windows 10 operating system. The touchpad supports multi-touch gestures for scrolling, zooming, and other functions.

6.2. Wireless Connectivity

Wi-Fi:

  1. Click the Wi-Fi icon in the system tray.
  2. Select your desired network from the list.
  3. Enter the network password if prompted and click 'Connect'.

Bluetooth:

  1. Go to Windows Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
  2. Ensure Bluetooth is turned 'On'.
  3. Select 'Add Bluetooth or other device' and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with your Bluetooth device.

3G/4G (Optional Module):

If your device is equipped with an optional 3G/4G module, insert a compatible SIM card into the SIM card slot (refer to Figure 4). Windows will typically detect the module and prompt for setup. Follow the instructions provided by your mobile network operator.

6.3. GPS/Beidou Navigation

The Cenava W14u supports GPS positioning and optional Beidou navigation for multi-mode precise positioning. Location services can be managed through Windows Settings. For specific navigation applications, refer to the software's instructions.

6.4. Fingerprint Recognition

The device features a fingerprint sensor for secure login (refer to Figure 6). To set up fingerprint recognition:

  1. Go to Windows Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
  2. Under 'Windows Hello Fingerprint', click 'Set up' and follow the on-screen prompts to register your fingerprints.

6.5. NFC Functionality (Optional)

If your device includes the optional NFC module, it supports 14443A/14443B/15693/18092/mifare protocol under ISO/IEC for reading various cards and devices. Specific applications will utilize this feature.

7. Maintenance

7.1. Cleaning the Device

  • Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.

7.2. Battery Care

  • To maximize battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.

  • If storing for a long time, charge the battery to about 50-60% before storage.

7.3. Storage Conditions

When storing the device, ensure the environment is within the specified storage temperature range of -30°C to 70°C and humidity of 95% non-condensing.
