The T27 supports 4G SIM cards for network connectivity. To insert a SIM card:

5.3. Connecting to a Network (Wi-Fi/Hotspot)

To utilize online translation features, connect your device to a Wi-Fi network or mobile hotspot:

1. Tap the Settings icon on the device screen.
2. Select WLAN.
3. Toggle the switch button in the upper right corner to turn Wi-Fi on.
4. Select your desired Wi-Fi network from the list.
5. Enter the Wi-Fi password and tap OK.
6. Once connected, a Wi-Fi icon will appear, indicating a successful connection.

Note:

• The translator does not support networks that require secondary authentication (e.g., airport Wi-Fi, public Wi-Fi).
• To disconnect from a network, long-press the connected network name and select the option to cancel the connection.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Power On/Off/Restart & Screen Lock

• Power On: Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds.
• Shutdown/Restart: Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds, then select "Shutdown" or "Restart" from the on-screen options.
• Lock/Unlock Screen: Briefly press the Power Button.

6.2. General Translation Operation

The device supports various translation modes. For most modes, the general operation involves selecting source and target languages:

1. Tap the desired translation mode icon (e.g., Online Translation, Offline Translation).
2. On the screen, tap the language button at the top to select Language A (your source language) and Language B (your target language).
3. For Voice Translation:
   • Press and hold Translation Key A, speak your phrase in Language A, then release the key. The device will automatically translate and speak it in Language B.
   • Similarly, press and hold Translation Key B, speak your phrase in Language B, then release the key. The device will automatically translate and speak it in Language A.

6.3. Online Voice Translation

The T27 supports real-time online voice translation for 160 languages.

• Access this feature by tapping the Online Translation icon or by swiping right on the home page.
• Select your desired source and target languages as described in the General Translation Operation.
• Long-press on translation history entries to delete, clear, or favorite them.

6.4. Offline Voice Translation

The device supports offline voice translation for 17 core languages, allowing translation without an internet connection.

• Tap the Offline Translation icon.
• Select Language A and Language B.
• Some offline languages may require an initial download while connected to the internet. Follow on-screen prompts.

6.5. Photo Translation

Translate text from images using the device's camera.

• Tap the Photo Translation icon.
• Select Language A (source) and Language B (target) at the top of the screen.
• Press the Camera Button to take a photo of the text you wish to translate.
• The device will translate the text from Language A to Language B, displaying both the image and the translated text.
• Tap the album icon at the bottom left to view translation history. Long-press to delete or clear records.

The T27 supports 75 online photo translation languages and 53 offline photo translation languages.

6.6. Group Translation (Global Chat)

Engage in multi-user, multi-language group chats with auto-translation.

• Tap the Group Translation icon.
• Tap 'Create' to start a new group and get an ID, or enter an existing ID to join a group.
• Once connected, two or more devices can achieve synchronized translation for seamless conversation.

6.7. Intelligent Recording (Recorded Speech Translation)

Record speech and get offline transcription and translation.

• Tap the Intelligent Recording icon.
• Select Language A and Language B.
• Tap the Orange Button to start recording. Tap again to stop and save.
• View recording history at the bottom right of the screen. Long-press a recording to delete it.

Note: Save your recording before the device shuts down due to low power.

6.8. Mobile Translation (Phone Translation)

Sync your translator with your phone for two-way text and voice transmission.

• Use a QR code scanner (e.g., from Chrome, PayPal, WeChat) to enter the function interface.
• Tap the function icon in the upper right corner and select the required language.
• You can then perform mutual translation between your mobile phone and the translator.

• Press the Translation Key again to stop. The interpretation will automatically stop after one minute if not manually stopped.

• Tap the Language Learning icon.
• Select Language A and Language B.
• Press and hold Translation Key A to speak in Language A; the device will automatically translate it into Language B.
• For oral practice, tap the Language Learning icon at the top right of a sentence to follow along. The device will score your pronunciation.

Translate written text by manual input.

• Tap the Text Translation icon.
• Select the required source and target languages.
• Enter the text to be translated into the input area.
