Setup and Initial Configuration
Battery Information
Your SKMEI 2559 watch comes with a battery included. The battery code is CR2025. When replacing the battery, ensure it is done by a qualified technician to maintain water resistance.
Setting Time and Date
The watch features three main buttons: MODE (left-bottom), EL/SET (left-top), and START (right-top). The right-bottom button is for the EL light.
- In normal time display mode, press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through different modes: Time, Alarm, Stopwatch, Countdown.
- To set the time and date:
- From the normal time display, press and hold the EL/SET button until the seconds start flashing.
- Press the MODE button to move between setting fields (seconds, minutes, hours, 12/24H format, year, month, day).
- Use the START button to adjust the flashing value.
- Once all settings are correct, press the EL/SET button to exit setting mode.
Operating Instructions
Mode Selection
Press the MODE button to switch between the following functions:
- Time Display: Shows current time, date, and day of the week.
- Alarm Mode: Set and activate daily alarms.
- Stopwatch Mode: Measure elapsed time.
- Countdown Timer: Set a specific time to count down from.
EL Backlight
To illuminate the display in low light conditions, press the EL/SET button (left-top). The backlight will activate for a few seconds.
Chronograph (Stopwatch)
- Enter Stopwatch Mode by pressing the MODE button.
- Press START to begin timing.
- Press START again to pause/resume timing.
- Press EL/SET to reset the stopwatch to zero.
Alarm Function
- Enter Alarm Mode by pressing the MODE button.
- Press and hold EL/SET until the alarm time starts flashing.
- Use MODE to select hours or minutes.
- Use START to adjust the alarm time.
- Press EL/SET to confirm and exit.
- To activate/deactivate the alarm or hourly chime, press START in Alarm Mode.
Countdown Timer
- Enter Countdown Mode by pressing the MODE button.
- Press and hold EL/SET to set the countdown time.
- Use MODE to select hours, minutes, or seconds.
- Use START to adjust the values.
- Press EL/SET to confirm.
- Press START to begin the countdown.
Care and Maintenance
Water Resistance
The SKMEI 2559 watch is 3 ATM water resistant. This means it is suitable for daily use, such as washing hands, sweating, and light rain. It is NOT suitable for showering, swimming, diving, or any activities involving submersion in water. Do not press any buttons while the watch is wet.
General Care
- Clean the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) or sudden temperature changes.
- Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields.
