Specifications

Setup and Assembly

1. Battery Charging:
   • Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use. Connect the charger to a power outlet and then to the battery. The charging indicator will show the status.
   • The chainsaw is compatible with Makita 18V batteries.
2. Guide Bar and Chain Installation:
   • Place the guide bar onto the chainsaw studs.
   • Carefully loop the chain around the sprocket and guide bar, ensuring the cutting edges face the correct direction.
   • Secure the side cover, but do not fully tighten the nuts yet.
3. Chain Tensioning:
   • This chainsaw features tool-free chain tensioning. Use the adjusting knob to tighten the chain until it is snug but can still be pulled freely around the guide bar by hand.
   • A properly tensioned chain should not sag on the underside of the guide bar, and you should be able to pull it up slightly (about 2-3mm) in the middle of the guide bar.
   • Once tensioned, fully tighten the side cover nuts.

   

4. Oiling the Chain:
   • Fill the automatic oil system reservoir with appropriate chain lubricant. The oil pot capacity is 60 ml.
   • Monitor the transparent oil level window to ensure sufficient oil.
   • The automatic pump oil lubrication system will ensure the chain is continuously lubricated during operation.

   

5. Battery Installation:
   • Slide the charged battery into the battery slot on the chainsaw until it clicks into place.
   • The power digital display will show the remaining battery charge.

Operating Instructions

1. Starting the Chainsaw:
   • Ensure the security lock is disengaged.
   • Press the variable speed trigger to start the chainsaw. The brushless motor will provide a no-load speed of 5600 RPM.
2. Cutting Techniques:

   • Allow the chain to reach full speed before engaging the wood.
