5.1. Pre-installation Safety
WARNING: Ensure the power supply to the circuit is completely OFF at the circuit breaker before proceeding with installation. Failure to do so may result in electric shock or damage to the device.
5.2. Opening the Wall Switch
To access the wiring terminals, you need to carefully open the switch panel.
- For EU Wall Switch: Rotate clockwise with a screwdriver to detach the front panel.
- For US Wall Switch: Rotate clockwise with a screwdriver to detach the front panel.

- Ensure the green LED backlight on the switch is blinking fast. If not, long-press any button on the switch for 5 seconds until it rapidly blinks. This indicates pairing mode.
- Open the "Smart Life" App and navigate to your Zigbee gateway.
- Tap "Add subdevice" within the gateway interface.
- The Zigbee gateway will automatically search for nearby Zigbee switches in pairing mode.
- Once discovered, follow the on-screen prompts in the app to complete the pairing process.
