5. Care and Maintenance

5.1. Water Resistance

Your SKMEI 2475 watch is 3ATM water-resistant. This means it is suitable for daily use such as washing hands, sweating, or light rain. It is NOT suitable for showering, swimming, diving, or any prolonged water immersion. Do not press any buttons while the watch is wet.

5.2. Cleaning

Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and moisture. For stubborn grime, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using chemical cleaners, which can damage the watch's finish.

5.3. Battery Replacement

The watch uses a CR2016 battery. When the display dims or functions become erratic, it may be time for a battery replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified technician to ensure the water resistance seal is properly maintained.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1. Display is blank or dim

  • The battery may be low. Consider replacing the battery.
  • Ensure no buttons are stuck in a pressed position.

6.2. Time is inaccurate

  • Re-set the time following the instructions in Section 4.1.
  • Extreme temperatures or strong magnetic fields can affect accuracy. Avoid exposing the watch to such conditions.

6.3. Water appears inside the watch

  • Immediately stop using the watch.
  • This indicates a breach in the water resistance. Seek professional repair to prevent further damage.
