2. Safety Regulations

Warning: This article contains important safety and operation instructions. Please read and save this manual for future reference.

  1. Always choose the corresponding battery setting (lead-acid or lithium) carefully. Incorrect settings can lead to system malfunction.
  2. Before using the unit, read all instructions and cautions on the unit and understand all battery models and relevant chapters in this manual.
  3. Never short-circuit AC output and DC input. Do not connect to mains when DC input is short-circuited.
  4. Never charge a non-rechargeable battery.
  5. Do not disassemble the unit. For maintenance or repair, send it to a professional technical service center. Incorrect reassembly can cause electric shock or fire.
  6. To reduce the risk of electric shock, disconnect all wiring before any maintenance or cleaning. Turning off the device alone does not eliminate this risk.
  7. Exercise extreme caution when using metal tools near the battery. Sparks from falling tools can cause short circuits or explosions.
  8. For optimal operation, select the appropriate cable size for the off-grid solar inverter as instructed.
  9. When disconnecting AC or DC terminals, strictly follow the installation procedure outlined in this manual.
  10. Ensure the off-grid solar inverter is connected to a permanent grounding wiring system, complying with local requirements and regulations.
  11. Provide a fuse with specified ratings for battery power supply overcurrent protection.
  12. Warning: Only professional service personnel can repair this equipment. If errors persist after troubleshooting, return the inverter to the local dealer or service center.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1. Unpacking and Inspection

Upon receiving your inverter, carefully unpack it and inspect for any damage. The package should contain:

  • Hybrid Solar Inverter unit x 1
  • User manual x 1
  • Accessories (e.g., communication cable, mounting screws)

4.2. Preparation Before Installation

Before connecting any wiring, remove the bottom cover of the inverter by unscrewing the two retaining screws.

4.3. Mounting the Unit

Consider the following points when selecting an installation location:

  • Do not mount the inverter on flammable construction materials.
  • Mount on a solid surface.
  • Install the inverter at eye level for easy LCD display readability.
  • Ensure proper air circulation and heat dissipation by leaving a clearance of approximately 20 cm to the sides and 50 cm above and below the unit.
  • The ambient temperature should be between 0°C and 55°C for optimal operation.
  • The recommended installation position is vertically against a wall, with some space from the ground.

Suitable for mounting on concrete or other non-combustible surfaces only.

Tighten the screws to fix the installation. M4 or M5 screws are recommended for machine fixing.

4.4. Battery Connection

Warning: All wiring must be performed by qualified personnel. It is crucial for system safety and efficient operation to use appropriate cables for battery connection. To reduce the risk of injury, use the proper recommended cable sizes.

Lead-Acid Battery Connection:

  1. Install an independent DC overcurrent protector or disconnect device between the battery and the inverter.
  2. Connect the battery according to the recommended battery cable specifications (e.g., 1*6 AWG for 3.2KVA-24V).
  3. Insert the ring terminal of the battery cable into the inverter's battery connector and tighten the bolts to 2-3 Nm. Ensure correct polarity.

Lithium Battery Connection:

Only lithium batteries matched with BMS communication protocol are allowed.

  1. Connect the battery according to recommended battery cable specifications.
  2. Insert the ring terminal of the battery cable into the inverter's battery connector and tighten the bolts to 2-3 Nm. Ensure correct polarity.
  3. Connect one side of the RJ45 cable to the BMS communication port of the inverter.
  4. Insert the other side of the RJ45 cable into the RS485 communication port on the lithium battery.
  5. If using a lithium battery, ensure the battery and inverter are connected with a BMS communication cable and select
