5. Troubleshooting

  • Device Not Turning On: Ensure the device is charged. If fully charged and still not turning on, try a device restart.
  • Pairing Issues (Smartphone/Sensors):
    • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and the iGPSPORT APP has necessary permissions (especially location for Android).
    • Make sure sensors are awake (e.g., rotate crank for cadence/power, wheel for speed).
    • Try restarting your smartphone's Bluetooth, the iGPSPORT APP, or the bike computer.
    • If pairing a sensor after battery replacement or firmware update, you may need to search and connect again.
    • For BLE/ANT+ dual-mode sensors, prioritize ANT+ protocol for connection.
  • Inaccurate Data:
    • For GPS data, ensure you are outdoors in an open space.
    • For sensor data, ensure sensors are correctly installed and paired. Check sensor settings (e.g., wheel size for speed sensors).
    • Ensure your user profile (weight, height, etc.) is accurate in the iGPSPORT APP.
    • If Battery Saver Mode is enabled, GPS and sensor data recording frequency is lower, which can affect accuracy.
  • Device Restarting: If you encounter problems, you can restart the device without losing settings or personal data. Long press the power button to turn off, then press again to restart.
  • Device Reset: If issues persist, you can perform a device reset via 'System Menu' > 'Device Reset'.
    • 'Reset' restores default values and ride mode but keeps history.
    • 'Delete and Reset' restores default values, ride mode, unpairs Bluetooth, and clears all data and odometer. Ensure auto-sync is enabled in the iGPSPORT APP to save personal data before performing this.
